Hey guys I posted earlier about skittles I was hearing popping sounds & she still makes them.
I got an x-ray the vet may have seen water in her lungs.
I will try to get the photo because they were unsure
It is a possibility she may have a respiratory infection. Did she aspirate any fluids in a bath
recently or from oral fluids?
How are her colors on her beard, is she in distress?
I would, for now, keep her tank around 80 or so overnight to help boost her immune system.
What are her basking temperatures during the day?
Okay.
Well I'm thinking it happened from oral fluids.
She doesn't seem in distress.
Everything else seems fine.
I can keep her temps 80 at night
I'll just run the heater.
basking temp is 100
She likes to hangout where its about 95
Would a probiotic help in this situation?
Like I said, I'm waiting on X-rays to show up in my email, maybe you guys will know what's going on
Little one is doing good! it's his first full day here with me.
Just wanted to add that in.

Better off boosting temperatures overnight , and when she's asleep placing her so her head is lower than bottom (so any liquid on the lungs drains out under gravity).
If that doesn't work , antibiotics and perhaps nebulization is in order.

We don't see respiratory infections around here often.
So I dunno.
Maybe she has water in lungs but no infection is present?
Will still try to dry & drain it out.
Also not trained to read an x-ray but it seems like it's likely empty space or gas to me as well. With dense objects like bones showing up as bright, dark objects would likely be less dense or air.
