water gel crystals

Im just wondering if anyone knows where i can purchase water gel crystals locally. I went to petsmart and did not find any..all i saw was water gel with calcium that you dont add water to.

Well I know they are cheaper if you were to order online though I've yet to do so. I purchased ours at Orchard Hardware Suppy in the garden section. A 1lb. jar was like $11 but they last quite a long time. BTW they were called "Soil Moist."

yeah i figured i should have bought them from the roach guy, but im a fool and didnt. So im hoping the roaches will be here tomorrow. So i would like to buy locally.

funny thing about petsmart... Look in their cricket bin... Regular water crystals... I asked if they would sell me some dry... She said no that they have to have that type and I should buy the premixed orange stuff cause they get 500 in at a time... I told her I bought them by the 1000... She said...oh go online & buy them...


where is "local" by the way?

Yup. Just read to make sure there is no fertilizer or anything in there. You can also get these from local craft stores like Michaels, Joann fabrics, ect. I think I bought like 5 lbs for something cheap like $7.99 on sale one day.. this was awhile ago and I don't think I will ever need to buy more.

you can get Circle gel's @ michaels craft store. they are little balls basically, shaped into circles, but they work. u get quite a lot for your money, check it out
