It's occasionally a little messier than intended, but does kind of give it a less 'specimen holding tank' atmosphere.. which I'm sure they appreciate, as long as a few things are under control..
I'm still phasing out some loose sand and debris that got very shifted around during an odd frog-fostering venture.
I kept one basking spot, very few hides and crevices, and no overly tall/steep climbs when they were little, but they're over a year old now.. so I can get a little out there and nothing seems to disorient them.. (they seem to instantly show me they know every possible way around when they like the change in terrain)
Plants are all real, which is partly why they tend to move around and get switched.
Believe it or not I might have to take that huge hibiscus out for a while to save it (at least until more of the spring growth finishes) as they seem intent on devouring the whole thing, and the new growth is naturally their favourite part..
Stones are real.. and heavy.. (that styrofoam-ish stuff just doesn't seem wise with this bunch), shells are real, all the wood except for the plastic dollhouse.. lot of the bedding and hammocks are old cotton shirts.. (it's a step up from the underwear hammock)
Everything is what it looks like, pretty much..
Might take pictures of the actual outside stretch of the habitat after I redo it.. .might be hard to picture what I was talking about.
