Vash the dragon

Hello all,

I finally (well I wanted to for a while) started sort of a blog if you want to use that
word.
But with the less picture stuff since my camera has been playing dead with the batteries
I keep not buying I'm sorry.
But I will be updating this often til there is no more to say, or you can post some things to
if you want. Whatever floats your sailboat :lol: besides the sail itself of course xD
Okay bad joke sorry, just feeling kinda out of it today, stupid Sunday, whyyy so boring
nevermind the sillyness or if you think I'm not funny that's cool too >.>

Hey all, I'm updating because tomorrow and
Sun are having another wind storm with rain.
Bummer! We just got out of one Wed night into
Thu morning. Nice day out today so I'll update
now. I shouldn't complain some of you have it
far worse than wind. Just our powerlines are weak
when it comes to wind.

Vash is doing fine, just ate and as I was wiping
his face he ate some tissue paper O.O! But, he'll
be ok, he'll pass it through like always. Just will
look like mumified crap :lol:. I always rinse his teeth
of the pumpkin, because I took him to the vet, he had
some black on some teeth but no yellow greyish matter
but she said thats babyfood staining his teeth. I told her
he had baby food in the past...well yeah that's what it was.


The rats have passed on, I suppose they don't live long.
So they 're buried under a tree where sunlight hits. They
loved sun, so now they are buried under the tree. I don't
believe in discarding dead animals in the trash, I believe they
should become the earth, goes for fish too. So now, that the
cage the girls lived in is cleaned out I might give it to Thor.


Ichabod is very surprising betta. He's so sick but continues to
get betta and back to full health then a few weeks later sick
again. The only betta that has survived 17 bouts of swim bladder
and returns to full health! He does have a parasite infecting his
swim bladder I do have meds for it and it seems to respond well
to the bug in his swim bladder. Eventually, he 'll get better for good.

Thor has moved into the cleaned and disinfected rats' cage.
Idk why they died just suddenly happened. It's all his, don't
have to share. Finally got that brat to pee in a glass cup no one
uses in his cage. Crap is another story, he still does that where
ever he wishes, even on Mickey once. He takes after Mr. Grumpy
Old Man Vash. Kinda funny, really.

Thanks Liz and Hoopy.

Vash is feeling better, yesterday he didn't
seem well. Lied down all day, closed eyes
unresponsive. Today, he's doing better, 61*
yesterday and today so pretty warm, rain
starts tomorrow, booo!

Ichabod just had his last round of parasite
meds, so he's better still, I'll get more if he
needs it.

Thor sleeping and eating. He has new chew
toys now old ones are chewedx to hell.
Idk what happened with the water bottle, but
he has a new one. Finally, he craps in the cup
took a while with that.

No more Misty, my uncle came by and picked her
up with the mice. He says he can handle her and
work now . My aunt didn't want her back, she's
not great with snakes but she has to deal with it
because my uncle wants her back.

I've been working out a lot more than I should
but that's good that I'm pushing myself. I lost maybe
5 lbs now but that is because I only just started. I'm
not fat or anything, just my stomach is well sticking
out. My heart is ok but if I 'm not active things could
get ugly in the future. Stopped drinking soda
so much I cut down about once a week. Drinking mostly
water a lot more.

Ok, I'm back.
Tue-Sun of next week will be
nothing but storms and gusty
winds. So before then, I 'll
update.

I got sick on Mar 19th and still got
this dang cold. It's hard to rest when
you got pets that need daily care, but
I do it. Then rest .

Vash finally ate sweet peas, I had no
pumpkin or apples (his fave) so I had
to go with the next best thing. He ate
two spoonfuls then he decided he's done.

Thor is ok, pissed because I refuse to
touch him during a cold. I heard gerbils
can catch our colds so yeah he stays put.
I still wash my hands and give him food and
water, also clean his bathroom. So no neglecting
here.

Ichabod is better than ever! Finally done
with parasites. Still will get swim bladder
because it's damaged so every now and then.

Couldn't go to my mom's bday bash at the
beach that my aunt and uncle hosted
because...you guessed it...SICK! But it's
ok, I'll make her something since even after
talking to SS they still haven't figured out
what they're going to do with my case.
They did accept my brother so he doesn't
have to work. Been a year so far with me
since I went in to file last January. Oh well,
that's life.

Another day at home which is where I been
every single day. Finally recovered from the
nasty cold, thanks Liz.

Vash doesn't seem to care what's going on
outside his tank just sleeping eating and
bathing. But he's doing fine.

Oh and that neglecting thing last week my
phone took out "no" so I put it back in,
sorry about that.

Thor is too active right now I let him out
around my room, closed area so it's ok he
comes when called. My cat hates the fact
he even exists and tries to catch him. I
supervise everything so he doesn't get hurt.

Ichabod is not well and its not another round
of swim bladder, this time Ich (ick) so that
sucks! I got meds for that, at this time I'm
happy he's the only fish in the tank. He'll
be ok, I do have a 10 gallon in the living room
devoted to salt water, includes one fiddler crab
some pike fish (they look more like lines moving
in water but are fish) and one eel (small side)
We didn 't want to stock the tank too badly so we
left out ghost shrimp.

I did go trail riding with my uncle on Friday
I did pick out a good horse to ride and his name
is Hunter, nice name for a horse that looked dark
red but more brownish. I thought he's a nice horse.

Ichabod bit the dust on his Ich meds so
his body gave up on all meds. Pic on the new
betta the pic thread, he's shy sorry I can't get too
close.

Vash is ok, eating and pooping.
Thor is also doing great, not really
anything going on this week, my mom
wanted another ...sorry if this is like
"really? Another ?" More active than
Ichabod was so she may have a chance
on this one. Definitely a mustard gas or
so the guy said he was.

Hey, just caught up again; I haven't been on in a while. Sounds like you've had a busy year!!
So sorry to hear about Bowser, Loki, Ichabod, Rainbow, and Lightening!
I understand what you mean about the SS stuff, I've been waiting almost two years (Canadian Disability).
Hopefully it goes through soon for you.

Sorry Blue I meant to say Dragon and friends pic
thread under Photo Expressions. Have a real
problem with wasps/yellow jackets so my mom
went out and grabbed a yellow jacket feeder well
looks like a feeder but they get in and die. It became
so nuts that Vash and I can't go out without them
swarming us and they're on the side with all the sun!!!
I cannot wait for this to start working. Kill em!!! Anyway,
hope everyone is having a good Sunday

Oh yeah, well neither Vash or I was harmed in our
attempts to go outside. It's weird I never bothered them.

Mom's new betta is a mustard gas delta tail and will attempt
to get a closer pic named Lightning Storm his personality matches
the name.

Thor's doing fine, he's become quite the escape artist lately...but
I always manage to find him.

Ants are gone...we see 1 or 2 sometimes no biggie.

Hey sweetie, thanks for stopping by Emily and Emmetts thread. Yes its pretty gloomy out ground is covered in snow. Its bitter cold outside and windy, I hate wind, its about the only thing that truly scares the heebie jeebies out of me. Glad to hear you and your critters are doing well. Not a whole lot going on so not much to say. Take care!

Hey, checked out the pics (found the thread) and loved them!! Vash is such a handsome guy, can't believe he'll be 10 soon!!!
Great to hear the ants are gone, but really sucks with the hornets. I'm so scared of being stung!! Poor Vash, hope he gets outside time soon!

Vash ate a jelly bean! How?! I 'll tell
you. It was a small one but here goes..

My sis and I were gambling with jellies
on her bed, Vash was just sitting on my
shoulder motionless..but all of a sudden
he jumped off my shoulder landed on the
jellies, so he saw one and ate it, tried to
pry it out, got a nasty bite to prove it, in
the end he ate it. Chewed and swallowed
without any issues. We quickly gathered
them so he wouldn't eat more. He's fine
no choking or anything, just waiting for
him to make a BM, he had crickets that
morning so I really didn't think he'd eat
anything else, let alone, CANDY! I feel
totally stupid for having him out around
candy even though he's never really
gotten so vicious. He tore my finger to
shreds, needed stitches, he didn't bother
to let go, even after he got the jelly down.
He 's 10 yrs old now...and he's been real
nasty since. Biting, scratching, clawing,
hissing, took him to the vet, she said he's
normal. I guess he's just old and really
REALLY grumpy. April 15th his bday and he's
been real nasty.

Everyone else is fine. I really don't think
I'm a bad person, I feel bad enough as it
is. I will never have him around any food
unless his own ever again. He never wanted
candy, didn't show any interest before. So,
he's ok today, just kicking back, this was
yesterday btw.
