Vash the dragon

Hello all,

I finally (well I wanted to for a while) started sort of a blog if you want to use that
word.
But with the less picture stuff since my camera has been playing dead with the batteries
I keep not buying I'm sorry.
But I will be updating this often til there is no more to say, or you can post some things to
if you want. Whatever floats your sailboat :lol: besides the sail itself of course xD
Okay bad joke sorry, just feeling kinda out of it today, stupid Sunday, whyyy so boring
nevermind the sillyness or if you think I'm not funny that's cool too >.>

Not sure why, but Vash is up and wanting to eat more
and it's not April yet (gets warm in April). Anyone else's
dragon waking up thinking it's spring? Not worried just
want to know if anyone else has this. Well, he pooped
today, big one too so he must've had a lot over winter
but I made sure he'd poop before fall was over because
he was still awake. Oh well, he's still okay and he had a
check up, still clean bill of health but she's concerned
for his walking, he warms up but he walks really slow
so its not cold, we think he has arthritis because of how
slow he gets around. I wonder if its hurting him to be alive
she doesn't want to put him down if he's happy to be alive.
So I will keep an eye on him and if one day he can't move
I will put him down I won't ask Vash to live without walking
that is respect for an old lizard.

mera is still wide awake and acting like it is spring, so maybe they had a secret meeting and decided it's time to be awake! old man vash is probably just slowing down with age. i feel his pain! i'm only 23 but my knees have been killing me this whole past week. give him extra cuddles for me and maybe some nummy treats.

Totally random stuff, updating right now because
it's windy has heck outside and I'll go as fast as
I can.

Vash is still up and head bobbing at his reflection.
I did give him a warm water bottle just in case the
power goes out. Eating and pooping normal, nothing
wrong with him.

Ichabod recovered nicely, then again fish are
pretty easy to take care of if you're like me
going through every illness in the book and every
fish die from it. You get what you're doing after
a while.

Thor is ok, he keeps thumping his hind feet
he feels the wind and power outage is a threat.
Oh well.. I thought it was funny. But he has a clean
bill of health too.

I noticed no pics of Ichabod the last time I updated
the pic thread, sorry about that. I will do that here
on this thread.

Vash is fine but more awake than ever.

Thor is also fine being alone that is. He gets
all the attention and he loves it.

Oh Rainbow and Lightning are good they're
comfortable with Thor and Vash but not
allowed all out together Vash may eat them
but the girls and Thor are out together.

Ichabod on the pic thread instead, he's a real lounger
just eat and swim one inch from where he is.

Everyone is doing fine, just a short update.
73 degrees here that will change to rain on
Mon, but its warm for now. Vash is up wanting
more food during this warm session we have.
Going to California next month from Tue-Sat,
Sun pm I return home, during the time I am gone
my mom will play with Thor for at least 10 mins
feed Ichabod (moved to my room because cats
wanted fish for dinner and severely stressed poor
boy), Vash will be fed before I go not much I can
do about his bath unless I fed the day before I go
and then bathe him a few hrs before I get on the plane.
Mom will just take care of his lights, but she might
feed if he looks hungry. I have hissing madagascar
roaches, this happened yesterday, I didnt even know
how or why my sister got them for me. She said "nice
gift, right?" Uhhh..well sure, I guess, least they're not
the german kind. Both males so no breeding. I have no
names besides "roachies" for them. Ok, this turned out
to be a long update. I did go to the dr because my bottom
itched ( so sorry if this is tmi) but she said I got internal
hemorrhoids! Wtf? Are you serious?! -.- dang...well that's great
I have been eating more fruits and veggies also I got witch hazel
Well, it was bound to happen, since I was a kid, did have impaction
issues. Sorry again for too much info you all are family to me so
I didnt feel right keeping it although, I should have.

Sorry to hear about your intermal issues..those things hurt after a while. Take care of it now before they become external. Whatcha gonna do in California? Hope you have fun. And hope its not for what I think it is after our long talks lol :shock: glad Vash is doing so well and the others to!

I am taking care of the hems now.
Oh, going to Cali because a friend from
high school contacted me and asked if
I can fly down there to hang out with her.
I know Rex is down in CA too but we're friends
so doesnt matter anymore what he does. I might
stop by and say hi but most likely he'll be working.
Plus, I've been stressed out with all my pets and
job and my fault for hoarding animals. Possible I
am rehoming some( not Vash) to relieve stress.
Vacation. So not because of our long talks just
gonna have fun with my friend. Leave the animals
to my mom for a bit. Always home, if not working
so I need out. It may sound selfish, and I love my animals
as if they were human but I will take care and give them
attention when I get back.

Everyone needs a break from time to time. I really hope you enjoy your trip and enjoy your friend. I did not know you were working now..I am so out of the loop on some things since Sept. Been so busy in my own little world of fixing my house and yard I have not had much time for anything but to post and update now and then or to help someone that may need it. No one can fault you for wanting a vacation, everyone deserves one animals or not as long as they are cared for while away. I know yours will be. Stay in touch..HUGS

I will stay in touch. I work at a pet store, cleaning
cages and feeding. Snakes are hard to feed cuz they
get fed mice or rats and I feel bad but I do it.
*hugs* thank you for understanding auntie, hope E & E
are well. I'm sure they are..this phone is hard to typw
on :lol:. But I'm glad my niece and new nephew are properly
cared for. Gieco will always be my first nephew, next to Holly's
Mylo.

Back again with more..you guessed it...updates!
Jack Harkness our female cat is pregnant, we let
her out too much but didn't think we had male cats
running around. Vash will be fed dragon bites pellets
while I 'm gone, sorry old man everyone else here is too
busy to hand feed you the food I give so I hope you feed
yourself. But Sunday (the 16th of Feb ) I will come home
and feed him pumpkin so he can go potty on Monday.
Thor and Ichabod will be ok, they will have their rooms
cleaned up before I go, so no one has to worry about that
part. Vash has fully woken up from brumation. So he might
be unpleasant to be around because he usually would try to
bite when he wakes from brumation, he 's always been like
that since he got into teen stage of life, so for him, it's normal.
Rhoids are almost gone so it's not bad as it was.

Well, its storming here so we'll see how fast
I can be.

Vash got a bath today just to be ahead of the
storm. He'll be fed tomorrow just in case the
power goes out. I should get pics and show you
all what Orion as the weather channel calls it is
doing.

Thor is doing fine on his own nothing
very new on him.

Rainbow & Lightning are fine, I dont want
to rehome but I might. They're sweet but still.
I love em, but we'll see how I feel after vacation
in California.

Ichabod has another bout of swim bladder..
why did mom get a sick betta. He's fine, he'll
be ok.

Got my aunt and uncle's snake. Her name is Misty
I didnt pick the name she came with it. Her owner
is a friend of my uncle and he's in the navy or something
and wont be back for a while, so my aunt and uncle
are too busy for her. So, Im not keeping her as a lifetime
pet, just for now.

Well back from vacation, to more wind storms.
Gee, yeah that's what I came home to.
Power did go out last night, taking out the
fish's filter and mom didnt know how to turn
it back so the top water got murky , I cleaned
it and turned the filter back on.

Vash is fine and he hates not having pumpkin
he gets a bath tomorrow and pumpkin.

Thor never wanted to leave his cage while
I was gone. He just slept, but he is alive.

Rats are fine just kinda blah right now.

Misty is ok just kinda hanging around on her
branch sitting near her light.

Thanks Liz, vacation was good.

Went to Universal Studios.

Jurassic Park was a good ride..84 foot
drop was not so fun but I went on the
ride anyway.

The Mummy Ride was good then got too
fast towards the end, so I felt like I was
gonna fall out. Good still.

Vash ate pellets and he then bombed his
room while I was out of town. He's good
though, my mom cleaned him up.

Thor and the rats didnt want to come out
for her, so she just fed them and left them.

Ichabod is good, he kept swimming from my
mom. But he felt better after she was feeding
him.

Also returned to ants, so I got some cloves and
chili powder. Sprayed outside but no sprays inside.

Going to Eugene, Oregon with the family
tomorrow. So I'm updating today because
I won't be back till like 7 or 8pm and won't
want to update. Now on to the critters...

Vash is doing fine, crapping and eating as
always. Had crickets on Feb 26th, gobbled
them like no one's business. Will eat some
pumpkin so I can hopefully get him to use
the bath as his potty and won't worry about
him going and then it's stuck in the cage till
7 or 8. No one is going to be home.

Ichabod is doing better than before. Recovered
fully from everything. Upgrading him to a
10 gallon soon.

Thor is fine, being his noisy self at night but
that's ok I have crickets in here so the noise
drowns out his chewing, feels like camping
really.

Lightning and Rainbow are golden, if you don't
know, it means great, I don't think anyone is stupid.


Misty is fine just had herself a hopper mouse
and should be good till April and is happily
basking. Extremely shy, so I bring the iPhone
she slithers under her hide and stays for hours.
I have tried lifting her hide to take a picture but
she tries to bite me. Never mess with a girl when
she wants to be alone :lol:.
