You can put the bulb inside the tank so it'll be closer to your beardie's basking spot but it's probably safer to try to leave the bulb above the tank and raise the basking platform instead.
Beardies love to climb so that'll work out a little better for him/her.
I only used my Repti-Sun for a few weeks but I don't remember it getting very warm. It's probably still not a good idea for them to be able to touch it or possibly climb onto the fixture. Aside from the heat, there's also the risk that they'll get shocked

Hope that helps :)

You can put any bulb inside of an enclosure. With the fluorescent uvb lights your beardie should be between 6-8" from the bulb. I believe I told you that a few weeks ago.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
