Anyone in Dallas area recommend a vet for my bearded dragon. i believe he has beginning stages of URI, also is there anything i can order online. He has stopped eating so i feed him carrot and squash baby food. He has been breathing heavily with sometimes gaping mouth and wheezing or exhaling harder. His nostrils are clear and no bubbles are coming out of his mouth.

Thank you cooper but i have already gone through these list, Is there anyone in the Dallas area that has taken their reptiles to vets and were happy. I have had horrible experience with some of these vets that say they work with reptiles but when it come down to it i know more .

Hmm, that's no good then. I'm sorry to hear that. My next thought is to check with some of the reptile stores in the area and see if they have any recommendations. I'm sure they need to deal with herp vets regularly if they have a large reptile collection. I found a place up in Plano called Plano Pets that claims to have a very large reptile collection. Perhaps they may have some ideas. I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance with info for that area. Perhaps one of the other board members in northern Texas or one of the folks from Repticon may some good recommendations.

I'm glad you were able to find a vet and make an appointment. I'm not really sure what to do as far as treatment besides keeping him fed and hydrated with the baby food. Maybe try a syringe of Repta Boost if you can get your hands on some. Keep his tank a few degrees warmer than normal (esp at night) to help lessen the stress on his immune system.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
