Why do you have an uth in the first place? Bearded dragons don't need it. Even moderately cool night temperatures are well tolerated.

I agree....I've never used one, but because they are sold in the stores it seems to many reptile owners to be a good idea. If you ever need to raise night temps., get a CHE [ ceramic heat emitter ] Beardies are fine as long as the temps. don't go below 62-65 at night.

I've never tried a CHE but I have found that our B.D. does best when he's on the UTH on cool nights that fall below 75 degrees. If he's not on it then he doesn't have a b.m. the next morning.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
