I am seriously going a little wacko. I can not wait to pick out and bring home my baby beardie Though I am still a little un-prepared I cant help but want to rush her arrival. Just thought id vent.
Lighting is almost perfect i've been messing around with it daily. I just can not get the cool side of the tank to reach 80 degrees. Her viv is all set up all accept we were given a better and bigger tank for her and its the same with and length but its 2'' taller in height so she cant escape, but she maybe a ninja so we shall see. . And more money so I can shop more for her lol. Maybe start a food colony for her too, that should take a couple weeks. I just wish there were more people in my area to hang with and have play dates and such. But I love all of you guys on here<3FranktheTank":1xycgalt said:Aww I hear ya, new babies are always so exciting. 15 days will be here before you know it, and by then you'll be 100% prepared for her. What do you still need to get done before her arrival? Maybe by focusing on those things it'll put your mind on something else...

Very pretty girlFranktheTank":348xz9ni said:It actually sounds like you're all set go minus a few temp adjustments! How exciting for you, is this your first beardie? I loved all the pics you posted from your trip to the breeders. I know what you mean about meeting people closer so you can enjoy your enthusiasm for beardies together. My close friend on this forum lives in Canada and I live in Arizona, it would be awesome to have a play date with her, maybe someday... Beardies are addicting, my boyfriend and I adopted our first one last July and now we just adopted our third baby about a week ago. So now we have one male and 2 females. Our new baby is named Chloe and we rescued her, it's kind of a challenge so far, but I'm already so attached to her. Anyway I can't wait to see your new little one. Do you have your tank all set up the way you want it with her furniture in place?

My son's beardie is only 14 days away and he is so excited he could pop. But your viv looks FABULOUS! You are way ahead of us. We are still building the one for my son. Hey! I know... come on down to SW Florida and work with me to finish up my son's viv. It will pass the time for you in the blink of an eye. Cmon... you know you want to! The beach is a mere 8 blocks away! Awwww man... now I wanna go to the beach instead of work on the viv. Ha! Ha!
