Toothless the "Day Fury"

Alrighty. This thread is for me to tell my beardie's story and post all about his adorableness. Even though I just registered today, I shall start at the beginning. This thread should have alot of pictures- so be warned- you may not be able to take the pure ferocious cuteness.

The Beginning!
We bought Toothless from Repticon in Raleigh on May 5th. He came from the same breeding company that our first came from (Carolina Designer Dragons) because we know she is an amzing breeder! He was about 8 weeks old when we got him.

His parents are Prada x Etro from FairyTail Dragons. (not sure how CDD got some of their babies XD)
This is his dad, Etro. He is a Hypo Leatherback X English Belgium Hypo 18" long, 423 grams and still growing!! and This is his momma, Prada. She is 354 grams, 18 1/2" long and 100% Marketed Leucistic.




Now on to my little cutie. This is him in the salebin. He's the one facing us. We knew right away he was the one.


This is him on the way home. He was so friendly and curious- not a single stress mark!

This is his very first experience in his Viv. :3 He seemed to like it (He loves it now)

First bath (May 6th)

He's growing! (June 12th or so)

But still tiny. He's a snuggler when he isn't zooming!

July 6th. It's been 2 months since I got him, and he has shot up in size! Went from 25g or so to 158g!

Today, I coddled him with loooooove. Here is a shot to show just how much he's grown.

That beard is gorgeous, he's sure going to miss you! Glad you made it to school, though, and I know you'll be hounding your brother for daily proof that he's taking great care of Toothless! He is such a magnificent dragon, you'd never know he's not full-grown!

I did get to send in pictures for the Calander. I can only hope he gets a good place! School is going fantastically! My roomates are amazing and I am making lots of friends.

Called my bro today and he said that Toothless hasn't been eating for 2 and a half days now. A tad concerning, but from what I know, it's most likely from stress. There are relatives over there right now- some of them small children. I'm told they are playing pool and ping pong in the lizards room and keeping him up until the wee hours of the morning. He is supposedly scratching to get out, due to lack of play time (didn't want the little kids to get to him)

Seeing as he is so big, I don't worry so much, but I would like his scheduale to get back to normal soon so that he starts eating and pooping again (he hasn't gone to the bathroom because he hasn't eaten)

I wish he was here. Trying to see if my bro will start an account on here.

He can just use yours if you want. I know Toothless will be fine, but hope he gets back on schedule soon, too. He's used to running around alot & they miss that when they can't. Glad you're settlling well at school.

Well, as of Today, our little dragon is still being picky. Mom says he ate his greens, and my bro related he still snubs his bugs. Also, he apparently had a very smelly, runny poop today. I understand that aside from parasites, this can also be from stress (which he has had a lot!) I told my brother to watch the next 2 or 3 poops, and if they are more of the same, then the fam can go get a fecal done.

The relatives don't leave until next monday! I just want them to go hooooommme.

Well, we called the vet and found out that he actually had parasites with his last fecal, but not enough to worry about. But the stress has sent them skyrocketing.

We are medicating (he has pinworms) and I have to walk them through it from here. :roll: I haven't found out what they were prescribed yet, but once I do I am going to run the dosing by you guys.

Hopefully the fam will work with me and actually get me the information I need. Wish me luck.

No (this is our first time with parasites) but we are going to use some Soy Yogurt. Easy for the fam to find and they can't screw it up. ;D

just make sure they know not to use a glass dropper on him. but the vet should give a plastic one anyway
