At 115, he needs a lower watt lamp. If you're having trouble keeping the cool side... do you have pics of his tank?

Does your digital thermometer have a probe? How long are you waiting before getting the final readings?

The colored bulbs are hard on their eyes, they actually do better with a bright white basking bulb. In fact, you can even use a standard household light bulb. With that size tank, you shouldn't really need a 150 watt heat bulb.

Hey I'm using an infra red bulb because it gets cold in my room so I needed a 24 hour heat source.

I'm curious what others think. I don't think it matters that the cool side is that low. Isn't the point just to have somewhere cooler to go? They spend most of their time basking anyway. I've never seen a beardie hang out on the cool end for any extended length of time. It seems far more important to me that the basking temp be good so your beardie digests his food properly.

I have a 4x2x2 wooden enclosure and had the same problem.. I ended up using a 45w GE Indoor flood bulb for my hot side and basking spot and my temps are usually around 105-108 and then I also use a regular household 40w bulb for the cool side b/c my temps were too cool..

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
