This ad infuriates me!

I don't think I can post a link here but it's on Kingsnake bearded dragon classified ads and it's titled 'WANT A BEARDY BUT DONT HAVE THE SPACE? THEN LOOK NO FUTHER!'. I guess with missing parts, they don't need space requirements.

i dont know how to navagate that site so i couldnt find it, i have only been there like twice. i did however click a link i think it said rainbowbeardeddragons? and it showed adults in tiny tiny tanks, i cant look at those things i want to hurt someone afterwards, and put them in a tiny bathroom for a few months, sounds like a saw movie! maybe they would learn the lesson of there ways hehe

its outback reptiles what do you expect. there are so many people that have been screwed over by this guy in the reptile world its not funny

And not only are they severe tail nipped they both also have very severe kinks in their tails.

Not to mention that even with a tail nip a dragon still needs at least 6 sq ft of floor space as an adult.

arghhhhh i hate people sometimes.

OMG!!! That is terrible...the ad is awful, and obviously they don't properly care for their babies that they can have that many without tails!!!!

I'm not sure what picture(s) you saw but I would have a hard time believing that Rainbow Bearded Dragons deprive their adults. Their babies are some of the largest & healthiest babies advertised in my opinion. You probably saw her 2-3 month olds in individual plastic tubs, not adults. LOL!

I did read some pretty bad rants about Outback Reptiles. I didn't know who they were so I googled them.

OH wow, i googled it, so they have a kinked tail or nip therefore deserve less ? it sounds like salt in the wound for these poor babys, they had a hard start in life now hes letting it be worse

im not knowledgeable in the reptile world of who the biggest breeders are or whos who, i just know when a cage size looks small to me, the adult looked fat and big but the cage was minimal, however i may be biased and am judgeing by my cage i see everyday and think that should be the norm
however you have this outback dude offering BDs to be housed in fish bowls so it makes everyone not look so bad. its people like him that cause regulations because its legal abuse.

I agree! I love Tamara's dragons. I personally have bought one of her dragons and he is growing like a weed, and is the most personable dragon (besides my oldest one). I would definitely do business with her again.

I have NEVER personally seen an ad of hers that had adults in tiny tanks. As stated above it might have been her 2-3 month olds she had in tubs or something but her adults are in FULL TANK setups, as far as I know. So I don't know what ad you saw of hers that looked like that.

As for Outback Reptiles...He's pretty much the bottom of the barrel, on anyone's list. There are so many bad threads about him over on Fauna that it's amazing people still buy from this "man".

true he is the bottom but the problem is as many people as there are in this industry that know the good the bad and the ugly when it comes to breeders there are that many more people that want to purchase whatever the cheapest they can get is without care for who its from. people like josh (outback reptiles) will be in this business for as long as there is a business to be in because they make money off of people who do not know any better every single day.

I have a question......

Why is it ok for just the "adults" to have the proper space and not the younger ones?

Thats like me putting a child into a closet and saying "oh its a child they dont need much space intill they are a adult."

people like him and the people who buy them (unless they get lucky and get saved) wont give them proper housing, thats why i wish they did have some kind of regulations of some kind on how people keep their reptiles. they do it for cats and dogs, why not snakes and BDS? ive seen people keep snakes in tiny opaque tupperware and store them in shelves and only handle them when they have to kind like some live baseball cards stacked on top of one anouther, whats the point? i think just like there are crazy cat people who have problems, theres even more crazy reptile people. and it hurts the true collectors who take care of their animals and have to deal with exotic pet ban bills and such because of said negligent people , it sucks for everyone. if your going to have a pet, or breeder it makes no difference they both require the same amount of space, and if you dont have the facility to do that then you dont have any business breeding them.

omg i just saw that post on there he is acting all happy about it and they have really bad nipped tails so they dont need a lot of room what a joke they still have a brains and hearts they are going to need the same amout of room as a normal beardie thats so messed up that sucks that they started with a unfair life and now that guy dosent really care if it gets worse uggghhh people are so cruel

I wouldn't be surprised if he amputated the tails to sel lthem like that. I've seen people make iguanas drop their tails to sell as "dwarf".
