My tank has 1 stick on thermometer, as well as 1 digitial with a probe that sits in the tank. do i need another digital thermometer for the "cool" side or will the stick on one before ok for now? :study:

If you have no intentions on changing the wattage of the bulbs for the cool side, and you had already determined that it's at the right temperature by measuring with the probe, I would assume the stick-on one would be ok (after getting the equivalent probe to stick-on readings). But periodically check the cool side with the probe just to be sure that it hasn't gone up too much.

i have no issue spending the $ on a 2nd thermometer but wasnt sure if it was going to be a waste or not. also humidity guages? necessary or not? i heard alot of mixed feelings.

The humidity monitor would be beneficial if you live in a state that's typically humid (like FL), or if you keep a water dish in his tank.

You could buy a combo one, just to be safe. They're not that expensive.

I actually live in NY. like the zilla thermometer/humidity guage? could i use that thermometer on the gauge on my cool side as a comparison to the cheaper stick on one? or does it have to be centered?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
