So how difficult would it be to do the wiring (minus the temp control) so that I could just plug into one outlet on the wall? I finally decided to build my own. Now I'm realizing that I don't want all of the plugs, but I don't know JACK about electrical work.

And your double enclosure should sell for...$200 for me and then $400 for others :laughhard: j/k! Seriously though. The materials were probably around $140-180, right? Then the hours putting it together...$400 MINIMUM. I think custom cages sells a single standard 4x2x2 for $350. Then if you have some type of electrical setup too, the price goes up. I'll give a range of $400-$700 for the dual setup depending on the electrical "accessories" you include and the material (particle, MDF, MDF + melamine, etc.).

what i would do about getting rid of all the plugs i would just run your lights to a box for a house hold light switch. you could have a double switch and have one be night and one be day/UV. That way you could switch day off and night on or the other way around and you wont ever have to unplug it.

as far as my enclosures for sale it will be a little while. i will have axcess to a large shop with all the tools needed in a month or two. then i will be able to get something started.
