being that im a fairly new beardie owner 3 months you guys have helped me with so much where the petstore was uselss. my berdie was 4 inches when i bought her in sept she is now a just under 12 inches. the petstore only told me i needed a basking light and that was it !! no calcium no vit. nothing but crickets, but by reading here finding very useful information my beardie 'sandi' was given the proper lighting, vit, and calcium which was very important for her. YAY she fineally ate greens tonight for the first time was only a few nibbles but she did it. she took a bad fall and Diane through this forum helped me with her, i was so scared she might have hurt lil'lungs she feel off my shoulder cleear to the floor 'cried' and held her all day, but shes back to her norm running eating and being fiesty. one other thing shes her dad my boyfriend, she chases him black beards him and even give him a hiss from time to time then she'll run under my chin and nudge me, anything i can to do stop this behavior while shes still young? really i wanted you guys to know your help is really appreciated :lol: thanx again for all u have done to help me bring up a very pretty young lady 'sometimes ' my lil'sandie

Hi Tami. I'm glad you were able to get signed onto the forum. I had sent you another email asking how Sandi was doing. So happy to hear that she is doing much better. Yes, the advice here is so helpful and we love helping beardies and their families. You mentioned that she is blackbearding your boyfriend? I suggest that you wrap her up in a small blanket or nice fluffy towel when she is tired, and lay her on his chest. If he strokes her back, she should fall asleep on him. That will help start the bonding process between Sandi and him. Let me know how it goes, ok? Oh, and welcome to the forum. :wink:
