Tank with promise?

Hey guys, I was wanting to know what you thought of this display case. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/for/1170346256.html
It has an open back side to it that I would put a sliding glass door on that side and making it the front.

Thats what I was thinking. Dose anyone know where to buy the track to use for sliding glass doors for the tank? Or even what they are called (besides 'double U' or 'E track') so I can call around and find them myself. Having one heck of a time finding them, called about 6 places so far and no one knows what I'm referring to or they don't carry it. :shock:

They are called "by-pass tracks". My husband is a glazer (glass installer, that's how I know this). If you contact a glass shop they should be able to help you out.

The bypass track tends to be for closets and sliding glass doors. While they would be up to the job, I think those may be overkill for this particular application and overly expensive.

Hi they sell this track on ebay, just do a search on vivariums and it will show in the results.

Thanks guys, I think I've found some at a store near me, just need to go check it out.
Ok so this thing is about the size of a 150gal tank (AND FOR $25 TOO! ) I'm going to cut vent holes in the back (that I install) and sides. I would like to keep the glass top on it so dose anyone have any suggestions on how to install a MVB (this IS large enough for one correct? lol) as they need to be pointing straight down so mounting it on the side wouldn't work right?
To close off the back of the tank I'm going to put wood in there and was wanting to stain it. Anyone have any safe suggestions. I know that after staining it to let it air out for a few days. I'm also going to be putting in fake rock background, basking spots and hides like I did for my geckos. Love making the rock it's so much fun.

looks great for an enclosure. remember this is craig's list and things don't stay there long especially if a good deal. JUMP and jump now as it won't be there long

For the record, I am looking at a set of them right now that are installed on my enclosures. And unless you have a super small closet mine are not overkill.

But the poster asked what they were called and I answered the question. You can order them at any glass shop in any size for any sliding doors (the doors on my enclosures are sliding glass doors).
