The new tank set-up and FREE stand look great! How lucky are u? lol
Usually not so lucky but I have been given a lot of support and encouragement from everyone. People in my area are not really into the non "normal" house pet. So everyone when they find stuff they give it to me :) Plus I hang out with my close regulars and they cant wait until Lilly is here so she can hang out at Starbucks too. Lol I literally get off work go home eat dinner and come back to hang out lol. But I'm really glad everyone likes it. I have been going crazy trying to keep myself busy until she gets here.

You know, you could play it much safer and get a dimmer stat for the basking bulb. That way you can guarantee to get the temps right. It's 99% unheard of to use a heat source without some kind of temperature control on it in the UK. Not sure why you guys don't use them as much across the pond?
I have one on the way ;)
Lol I don't know why we don't, some houses, apartments, condos have the dimmer lights in the living and dining room. I guess you could always install them. Humm. UK is different from America, You guys are smarter lol. When I get my degree were thinking about moving over seas.

Excellent! The one you've ordered, is it a temperature controlled dimmer such as the "microclimate" range of thermostats, or a standard household dimmer? IF it's the latter, you will still need to keep an eye on temperatures, as a standard household dimmer will not have a thermostat.

Tiger Lilly is really going to enjoy that tank, so many things to run around on, jump up to, jump down off. Just remember not to put water in her tank at all, if you want to mist you, outside the tank only. Living in Florida you don't want any more humidity in her tank. Looks great, can't wait to see a pic with her in it, coming soon.....will be here in two days!!!!!

How come? I thought you had a girl picked out. Don't worry about having a boy, they're just as lovable & put on a good show when they grow up; plus they don't lay eggs when they mature. I have 5 boys, don't forget, they all love to snuggle & are fun to play with. So no worries, you can always get a girl in the future

Thats true. Im going to need your help picking out a boy name because now that I think about it there is this little man that always klings to my hand when ever I stick my hand in there. He has a cool design on his tail too so Ill know who he is. Disney related names. lol

I have two boys and feel relieved I don't have to deal with the whole possible egg impaction. :) I'm sure the little one that clings to your hand will have you wrapped in no time! I will say I was a tad disappointing when I found out because I had my eye on some pink stuff for the tank. We went with football fleece instead and I'm still looking for stuffed animals. Good luck, looking forward to the pics

And there's nothing to say that boys don't like pink! Even though my gang's fleece blankies are racing cars & flames. Gabriel inherited Sweetie's blankies, they have butterflies & he doesn't mind!

Sweetiepie9,
You are so right! And I saw Gabriel's pictures with Sweeties pillow also. He looks great! Maybe I can get Cooper and Palmer pink stuffies, lol

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
