Tales of Nero~Nero the Sausage!

Hi all :wave: I've finally decided to share my Nero.After months of lurking :lurk: Nero is about 8 months old and 16 inches long and he is very colorful .I "saved" him from petsmart though i wish I could have gotten one from lllreptiles but they did not have any at the time and i was very impatient to get my beardie! Pics soon if i can find out how to post pics! Nero is a big adventurer and always wants to crawl around on the floor or outside.I'm thinking of taking him to arizona with us in august if my family lets me as they aren't as fond of him as i am :wink: .Nero is actually going through a shed right now and i can't wait till his colors come out! He's getting to be a big boy! :help:

Not t.v. but Myah loves my lap top. I thought she was just after the warmth but she fixates on the screen and looks shocked when my screen saver fades to black. It's honestly like "Mom! Where'd it go!?" It's pretty darn funny! LOL! :lol:

By the way how much does a vet visit usually cost?

My visit was costly, but Myah had coccidia It cost me $100 for the check up, fecal float, weigh and meds. Worth every cent though :wink:

Today I decided to take Nero for a car ride.My sister had to be dropped off at her friends house and it was about a three hour ride,and I took this as the perfect opportunity to get Nero used to the car.(I don't even think my mom knew that i took him :wink: )At first he was a little scared,but then he started to like to watch the cars go by and looked at each individual person in every car :lol: .When he wasn't able to see out the window he would crawl even closer till he was bumping against it.When it started getting dark I wrapped him in his towel and he fell asleep.Since my mom wanted to go in a store I decided to leave him in the car and i covered him with a hat.When I came back he was thankfully still there and asleep. :lol: .When i got home my sister was all worried about where he was because i never told anyone I took him with me. :lol: .I think he is a car type beardie :wink: .

He is so crisp and fresh looking .He was in the bath.I made sure to disinfect in really good before and after.

And one of him eating his BD bites.They are his favorite. :roll:

And since Nero ran out of bugs he is a little skinny looking.Hoping to get some tomorrow.

Tonight I decided to take Nero out on a drive again.First we went to petco to get a few crickets and worms before his big food order came in.The cashier lady said she had a beardie,she seemed to know her stuff,but i still never really trust petstore people.I also let Nero look at the reptiles.He lunged at the snakes.But unfortunately that reminded me of my sisters snake who passed away from eating something bad .Nero used to look at him all the time,his name was orochi.Later we were driving and he decided to fall asleep.He probably liked the sounds and the gentle rocking of the car.When we got home,my grandpa was all scared because he didn't know that I had taken Nero with me,he said he was looking everywhere :lol: .But its nice to know that we have someone like that around. . Hope Nero's hungry tomorrow,he's got lots to eat!

Thanks,i think she has healed.She isn't going to get another snake but instead another bunny.His name was rapheal and he lived to be 8 years old.My brother is going to get a chameleon that he is going to put on the table that the snake was on.That will give Nero something interesting to look at besides my sister :laughhard: .
