My dad just randomly came home with him! He is cutest thing ever, and has tons of chub! He just dived into his salad! :D
Hes 2 years old, 15-17 in. long (has pretty good sized nip) and 442 grams... Dyed from red sand, so I cant see his colors. :D

Will post more details/pics later... I have to babysit! :D

OMG IM SOOOOOO EXCITEDDDDD!!!

Thanks guys! Dudley is being a little brat now though, LOL. He just made me a lovely "painting" that I'll have to clean up.

@Pumpkin: The linoleum is awesome! It's my favorite substrate yet. Hopefully I'll get to start painting my room soon. I haven't painted in since I was in 5th grade LOL. But I have no idea what I'm going to do with all my enclosures... I have Dud's 4x2x2, Stella's 29 gal, Stan's 15 gal, my 15 gal aquarium, and Smudge to deal with!Fun stuff, right?

My God! Look at that adorable kissable face! :love5:

Jess I love Dudley's cute stubby snout reminds me so much of my first beardie. :love5:

I loved all the new pic's of Stella and Stanley too! :D

Wow! Your house is going to have enclosures all over it while you're painting your room! Is Smudge your rabbit? (I think you said you had a rabbit before...) Knowing Dudley's crazy personality, he'll go bonkers when you move his viv. I painted my room December of 2010. It's bubblegum pink! My parents painted it though. I have amazing skills when it comes to painting pictures and stuff, but when it comes to painting a wall, i'll make it look terrible! Happy Painting!

Oh no, Dud, why don't you make a soap and water painting over your current one? You'll do Jess a BIG favor! :D

Stella is a gorgeous leo! She has some of the nicest markings I've ever seen. I love the large spots on her head.

I've never posted in your thread but I always love seeing your picture updates of Dudley.

I finally finished reading Dud's entire thread. It took me almost a week,I only get to read it when I have down time at work. All your animals are awesome Jess! I have to commend you on being so responsible
at your age. Not everyone in high school is so responsible, or cares at all about animals for that matter.
Most people your age are spending their money on new clothes, cd's and cell phones.
I have a 10 year old daughter who is a lot like you. She has 2 sulcata tortoises and a cat that she solely
takes care of right now. And she helps me with the beardies. She feeds them for me when she gets home
from school. Not every 10 year old would touch dubia, but she will.
Anyways, I think your doing a wonderful job with all your pets and can't wait to hear more Dudley stories.

Dudley is soooo cute I can't take it! I love my Sunny and Frank, but I have to admit I really hope the grow up to be as chubby and cute as Dudley. Sunny is well on her way! She's my fat little princess and is completely spoiled, my doing of course! I love Stella and Stanly too. Stanly seems like such a sweet boy, and I'm so happy you took him in and helped get that shed off his eye. From the looks of that cap looking shed that came off, it was on there a long long time. It's awful how people can neglect an animal.. breaks my heart. I also have a leo named Lulu Fritz! I rescued her from a pet shop too! Anyway, I really enjoy reading about Dudley and your gang of awesome reptiles!

I can understand having a zoo in your bedroom, Jess! My room alone contains my cat, Mouse, my Beardie, Aaliyah (which may turn out a he!), my corn, Apollo, and my Ball Python, Basil. :D My mom tells everyone I have a zoo. If only I had more money...

I also want a pair of Dumbo Rats. :) The only issue is space (two 40 gallons & a 20 gallon w/ cat carrier in a medium sized room is a tight fit) and if my mom will "re-locate" Mouse to her room, so there is no risk of Mouse hurting the ratties. If mom doesn't want to, I'll probably be getting a Crested Gecko! :blob8:

Dudley is adorable. I love adult Beardies, and cannot wait until Aaliyah gets there (she's growing so fast!). Aaliyah is FINALLY allowing me to hold her without freaking out - thanks to hand feeding yummy veggies! :)

Best of luck with the stud, Dudley!

Don't you just love it when your computer restarts when you are in the middle of a post? :banghead:

Anyways, sorry I've failed at updating this yet again. Me and Dudley's lives are very uninteresting at this point LOL. I've been working at painting my room (Only 1/2 of a wall left!) and Dudley has decided to re-semi-brumate. He is still eating and everything, but refuses to get out of his digging box in the morning unless I remove him and place him on his basking platform. Spoiled much?

Him and Stanley has some weird obsession with watching me paint though... They like to creep on me! Stanley is the worst: He will sit there the whole time with his little nose to the glass just staring at me LOL.

Stella has been acting off though. :? As of this week, she is constantly in her humid hide and won't come out to eat. If I send bugs in there with her she will devour them, but her dubia dish hasn't been touched for a few days. :( I don't know what's up with her.

@Barb: Aww, thanks. :) Your first beardie was Zack n' Wheezie's dad, right? Or am I thinking of the wrong one?

@PumpkinJelly: Yup, Smudge is my rabbit. I actually got a low-oder no-VOC paint, so my pets have all just stayed in my room. The paint has pretty much no smell! And yes, Dud was going nuts when I moved his viv LOL.

@Tazznzeppelin: Thank you! :D My pets are my babies, so I try my best with them. I'm still a bit of a shopaholic though! Haha.
Thats awesome that your daughter is so responsible with her pets. Tortoises are a lot of work! I was actually begging my mom for pet hissing roaches when I was 10, LOL!

@FranktheTank: Ha, I love his chubbyness too. :D But it seems like no matter what I do, he always gains weight so it's kind of frustrating too. I'd like him to stay < 500g but apparently that's not possible!

@BeardedAaliyah: Sounds like you have quite the little collection there too, LOL! I already had to move my hermit crabs downstairs when I got Stanley. Unless I can get some stackable cages, I have absolutely no room for anything else!

Hi Jess! Been a while since I posted here. Just read some back updates and thought I'd say hello. Get stella out and look at her belly. If you see two white ovals, she may be getting ready to lay some eggs. They will lay infertile eggs every now and then just like female beardies. The white spots should be the lower right of her abdomen and above that to the left. Just a thought, as one of my females is doing the same thing. Except we have her in with a male so maybe have some babies soon!! Yay.

You are correct! :)

Could Stella be getting ready for a shed?

That's funny they like to watch you paint...so cute and curious. :love5:

AllanonsWrath: She is only 7 months old though, can they lay them that young? I'll check her now... I was worried it be something like that! Lizards and their feminine issues...

Barbara, I thought so! I kind of wonder what Dudley's babies would look like if I bred him. :) I hope they would all have smooshed faces like him LOL!

Stella just shed a little while ago, and her colors are still bright so I don't think so. :| She usually still eats when she sheds too.

Yes they can mature quickly. Expecially when well taken care of. Normally breeders go more by weight than age. When they to weigh around 40 grams and hold or surpass that weight, they can breed and develop eggs. As a general rule of thumb anyway. If it turns out that she does have eggs and she isn't quite 40 grams, you may want to feed her a pinkie or two a week until she gets there. Just to be safe for her as egg laying can take alot out of them. And of course make sure to offer a calcium dish in her viv and dust her prey good. Alot of calcium transfers to their eggs so it can suck it right out of them to lay eggs. Even if the eggs are infertile.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
