my beardie has some marks on his belly that, from reading around, are stress marks. What does it mean?

Stress marks can mean a number of things. They can mean the beardie is hungry, thirsty, cold, or in a bad mood. They can just feel like darkening up and the stress marks will appear. So they aren't really "stress marks". Besides, your babies stress marks are reallllyyyy light. They can get dark.

Yup 'stress marks' are just a very emotive word from them.
You immediately think they are suffering when 98% of the time they are just a little miffed.

Stress marks can be due to very minor things like;
shedding irratation, displeasure, too hot, too cold, bathing, not being fed EXACTLY when they want it, not being paid enough attention.

Most stress marks are very tempremental.
Dex used to get them every bath time because she HATED the bath.
Ruben gets them every time he is lifted off the ground (he is terrified of heights)
Miso is a baby so gets them irratically throughout the day. Babies are prone to them alot as they are constantly growing.

Stress marks are only to be worried about if they persist for long periods of times (a fair few days).

My dragon has had these since I got him at Pet Smart Dec 08, he was 2-3 weeks then. I didn't know it was something to be worried about. I feed him three times a day (crickets, worms and veggies) and have all the right lighting. His temps are 75-98. He has them all the time, should I be really worried?

He has let me pick him up twice without struggling during the day. Typically I hold him an hour after lights out, I read on a post that it will help tame him. Recently he has started halfway stepping onto my hand to eat a worm, not all the way yet but I hope its getting there. Is yours the same way?

mine seems like he likes to be held but once he realizes he's made it from me to the floor, he'll try to get away lol

Ya mine doesnt eat like I have read young beardies should on this site. He will not eat more than 8 crickets a meal, which seams plenty to me but people have posted that they should be eating 50 a day. I have been killing the crickets and putting them in his dish this week, he still eats his eight and goes to up to his sunning spot.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
