So how did your beardies get their names?

There are so many interesting names I see here on these boards, I'm just curious how did we come up with them?
Freddie was named after the Beardie in Nims' Island. Bad movie, Jody Foster is just so wrong in that role. But anyways, my 9 year old daughter who had wanted a Beardie for a while announced that when we get a beardie she's gonna name him Fred. And she did, and HE really is a he named Fred. I was worried that it would havta be Frederina for a while. That's my boring story. Liz

the day i got my baby beardie i couldnt figure out what to name him :dontknow: . it took a couple of days to decide on a name but it finally came to me one day when i wuz feeding him.i decided to name him lightening because of how fast he took the crickets.he really loves his crickets.one day he wuz chasing a cricket around his cage and he had the cricket cornered,he lunged for it and got the cricket but he hit his head on the corner of his cage .i even heard his head hit.

great name! Yes my beardies hit the glass sometimes too. And walls, and random inanimate (sp?) objects. they have hard heads don't they? that prob helps them to enslave us... welcome! Pics???

Chuck Norris has been in loads. He was also in Walker Texas Ranger, main films i guess are; Delta Force, Missing in Action, Way of the Dragon (he fought Bruce Lee)

We named our babies Balrog and Darigaaz.
Balrog is the name of the dragon that fights with Gandalf in Lords of the Ring. Galdalf falls in a pit fighting the Balrog while tring to cross a mountain.
Darigaaz is the name of a dragon card in Magic the Gathering (actually it's called Darigaaz the Igniter). We're big fans of MTG, so a dragon name from the game was obvious for us!
For now, we don't know if they're males or females, but the names will stick no matter what!

mine is nicknamed Spiderman at the min as he tends to run wild when i try to handle him and he climbs the walls and also the top of his tank hanging from the mesh hes so funny, i also dont know whetehr it is a he or a she at the min so i really dont have a clue what to call it, i was thinking something like Lily if its a girl or Bowser if hes a he

We have one called Jazz, he is little but quite the mover, and another called Grimlock. We thought it would suit him as he got bigger, and he seems to stomp around the place!
