congrats :lol: you have quite a collection going.. It probably saves you from having alot of waste in the fruit and vege department. With just one beardie, I sometimes have to throw stuff out cause it goes bad before one lil guy can eat it all. The humans in the house dont seem to like his taste in food..

Well since i have so many i breed my own crickets, and dubaias just started supers. And beings that i live in the south we keep a garden year round so my babies always have fresh greens. But the only problem i have is keeping fruit in the house cause the human kids will steal the beardies dessert. So no we never have to throw anything away lol. Ill even cook greens and make human kids eat it lol :twisted: .Im a cruel mom lol. But yes my babies are spoiled rotten they tend to keep me sane cause i have a totally insane, disfunctional family. Dont have to worry about any one droppin in on the holidays cause i have the (omg she keeps them in the house and cuddles in bed with the ) DRAGONS. :lol:

Yes more beardies make for less waste when it comes to veggies...and Renee I seem to have the same fruit problem in my house....I buy 6 mangos so the beardies can have just one, but no the kids end up eating that one too.

congrats on the new beardie! i totally know what you mean by your pets keeping you sane same here! i just love the routine in caring for them my family wont come over because they think they are creepy. my mother in law litterly bolted out of the house when she learned i had a red tail boa since then she keeps calling to tell me horrible news storys that she heard with snakes eating peoples kids she is convinced happy the snake will eat my children!( happy is only 3ft long right now but you know how good at eating children these snakes are at his size...)

they are a handful, they each have their own personality. But they keep me sane i love them. I am specialty pastry cheif (fancy wedding and bday cakes) i just found out in the past six months from being on my feet 12 to 14 hours a day i have to have back surgery (have 6 herniated disk) so i cant work anymore. i was going insane and thats when i found this site and fell in love they keep me entertained plus i have human childeren 10 & 3 and loveable hubby that helps. each one is spoiled though.

I was disabled when my daugher brought in our first one and it kept me busy and happy to have something to do too Then I asked if anyone had any disabled beardies and poof there was Roo and Lexia. That started it all! I think if it wasnt for them id be a crying depressed mess. I want to rescue 2 adults atm but im afraid my hubby will kill me lol
