Should i use halogen

So i need to increase his temps by about 10 degrees and I was reading that a spot halogen same wattage would increase it by 20 degrees does that seem the way to go or what? I don't not wanna raise his basking spot!!

You could just use a Normal House Hold 60W Bulb in a Small Dome Fixture and put it on the Cool end of the Tank, and it should increase the over Temp's a little bit, and will give your Beardie more Visible light to be more active. Just make sure the Bulb is Clear and Not White or Colored.

I am using 60 watt incandescent bulb ATM in fact 2 of them plus 18" tube UVB...I more less asking if what i read about the Halogen spot bulb increase temps over the Incandescent bulb was true

You could try a Halogen spot/flood light from Walmart, many people on here use them. Depending on the size of you Enclosure, and how cold/warm your house is, will tell you the Wattage you need.

Its a 70 gallon tank and i do live in Illinois avg house temp is around 70...ATM using 2 60watt incandesent in a dual hood...So my thought were to get a clamp light with 70-75 watt halogen and move the other hood on the other side with one 60watt and one 13watt CFL? Does that sound about right?

A 75 Watt Halogen should Work, I know Walmart has these HUGE Flood Light's and some Really Tiny one's and they're the Same Wattage, so I'm Unsure about the Size, I would say the Bigger Size Bulb I guess. And You can keep 1 House Hold Bulb on the Cool End just to keep it a bit Warmer and to add some extra light, and as long as the Compact Coil is a House Hold Bulb and Not the UVB Kind.
Also do you have any UVB Light??

So far temps are good on basking getting 105, And the cool side was 85 is that good enough? Yes I have a temp setup 18" repitsun 10.0 waiting for my order from Lightyourreptiles guessing it should be here thurday or friday 22" hood with 12% arcadia

Yes, you're Temp's are Good. *5 on the Cool end is fine.
