lots of greens im am in the process of changing her diet, yesterday she had crickets and some carrots with some romain lettuce, i also started bathing her everyother day, i just got her a repti-sun 10.0 yesterday
I would shy away from the romaine lettuce and use greens such as: mustard greens, collard greens and turnip greens. They're highly nutritious for you dragon. With the change in UVB you should see a difference in her poo and even her active-ness. How old is your dragon?
she is about 2yrs..ive also heard that pheonix worms and silkworms are good for them but i dont know where to get them....do you think she is sick? im really scared but shes not acting sick although she stays kinda dark when shes in her viv but shes light when she sleeps or shes or running around or on me.
I'd go for the change and diet and see if it's changed anything about her poo. As far as her being dark in her tank.. what are her temps? sometimes they do that to absorb heat or just to get your attention to take them out. They can be picky and just want to be out all the time.
110 on the hot side and 87 on the cool...she has a hidey log on the warm side and a heating rock(NOT TURNED ON) on the cool side that has an upper part that u can move so she has a shadowy spot on the cool side
Just to let you know, for an adult beardie, you can lower the temps no the basking side to 95. They don't eat as many crickets as the younger ones so they don't need the higher temps to help them digest as mucn protein. The cool side should come down to around 80 if you can.. maybe just lower the wattage of your bulb, that's usually the way to do it.
