Shiro's great adventures

So I would like to introduce my new baby beardie, Shiro (it means white in Japanese) becuase he or she is a white hypo beardie.

Really happy to have him/her and I hope questions and answers on this post will help other people that have a baby beardie.

To kick it off she/he is stunning and very cheeky already! Took dubia from my hand without blinking and jumped onto her hammock and is happily watching her new tank.

So far so good and vet check next week and every six months from there on.

My beautiful girl Tengu will be sadly missed but she taught me a lot and she will always be in my heart and memories, RIP Tengu chan we love you so much.

Gypsy chan was out with her familyntoday which is rare! She was reading a magazine!! LOL it was so cute!!!! Got a lot of shots sonit was a good morning of photography

Now I have a cat following me for food and a lizard not giving a f@@& LOL

I have her some banana and she was in such a rush to get it she fell off hammock and then couldn't get up quick enough LOL I helped her up but her pride got the better of her and she waited until I went and then she ate it like I've starved her!!!!

You're calling her she again! Too funny, it's hard when you have a particular sex in mind and the bumps show differently. Sweetie Pie was a male for 2 years before she laid eggs and we realized everyone was wrong :lol:

I woke up with Eric's alarm and since I went to sleep relatively early, I walked Bella (he didn't have time) and got back into my bed. He says he's not been sleeping, he sleeps like a log, he just can't get through the exhaustion he feels all the time. Mainly it's how Tara makes him feel. He's trying to cut off emtions to deal with her, but she can make him so MAD, then he has to stop talking to her. So time to find a councellor, he needs profession help to get him through all this. He also needs to see the court councellor about an agreement (financial) for child support and possible alimony. I have to call the court today to find out about it. What he needs to do first. Once the agreement is done, they can both sign it and it can just go through the court without either getting a lawyer. So we're going we can get that done.

Wish me luck, going to work today 1400 hrs to 1800 hrs. Just 4 hours to start. Maybe tomorrow, too, then ultrasound on Wed, then Thurs off and work 4 hours Friday, see how that goes...

Arghghhggh I didn't even notice. I'm calling HIM a he at home and this morning HE was funny. Did his business all over hammock soni had to wash itnoutside and dry it in the sun. HE is looking at me as if to say "errrr where's the hammock at?" So I let HIM out for a run around which he loved

Banana..... yes I learnt about it with, Tengu. Small amount occasionally which is what she gets. She won't have more for a week now at least. Thank you

So the drama is still going on! Getting it down on paper is best way for sure and then the drama will start to fade away.

I didn't get to work, my back was out, so will try on Friday. I just don't have any energy, by noon I'm really tired already. Such a drag.

Well I'm at the big shopping place again and the beardies look so ill I had to walk out. Water STILL on the base of tank and they are sitting in it because no choice with heat of lamp and there is poop in the water. It's so bad I cried

No one there has done anything so I have to report them to animal cruelty. I really want to break the ranks open and just take them all. I've never seen such ill looking beardies.

Big problem is there are loads of them!!!! It's so sad :,( :,( :,(. :,( I literally cried in the shop

I'm so sorry, David, that this happened to that pet shop. There is no reason why either, so so very sad. My heart bleeds when I hear stories like that, you just want to run out and take them all home. Even though you can't. So much cruelty in our world now.

I went to the hospital & the technician said it's a small cyst, so report will go to my doctor and we'll see what can be done to remove it.

Had no time for the kids today, I slept in until 10p, had to eat, walk Bella, eat again and leave at 1:30. Son came home at 12:30, fell off a ladder, sent home to recover. So he slept all afternoon while I was out. Walked Bella again and by the time I came home the kids were asleep. I have a day with only 1 outing, so they'll get alot of snuggle time. It's gotten so cold, I'm having trouble keeping them warm at the ramp. So I'm keeping the curtains closed day and night (unless it's sunny) to help keep the place warm.

I got a good Picture of Gabriel today. His beard is his tangerine happy colour, which was good to see. You can see how big his belly is, it's also very wide. But he never complains

He's standing on a pile of fleece blankets.

Both Gabriel and Imp aren't moving around much. But tomorrow they'll get run around the living room time if it's warm enough.

I went off at the worker at the pet shop and the excuses were just ridiculous. Oh we drain the water after they poop WTF and I will take the temp. I said so why don't you have temp checkers in there? No answer. Too small, to close to the light, polluted water and just ill looking beardies.

AND the bitch huffed and puffed as I walked away. Ohhhh I was close to screaming at her. Worst cruelty I've seen here ever. I'm reporting them to main animal cruelty center in Tokyo. They will get investigated and hopefully not be allowed to sell beardies.

So anyway this morning, Shiro was a cold boy so I grabbed him and put him on my chest and my hands on him to warm him up. He loved it sooooooo cute.

I should add it's a different pet shop. This has recently started to sell them. They have no idea and this bi&@! Huffing and puffing at me like I'm a pain in the ass. That really got me going.

Wrote mail to head of store, head of the shop, reported them to animal cruelty center in Tokyo and pet shop standards. If it doesn't change I will go there everyday and just moan and moan and moan until I get thrown out.

So I've made it through the week, now waiting for ultrasound results. I go to work tomorrow 2-6, as didn't make it on Monday, so first attempt. Wish me luck.

Kids coming on weekend but I'm broke, so told Eric he has to pay for food or we're hooped. Next pay will be better but this one is rent and car ins. Have enough for everything but not alot of $ left for food and those kids eat every 2 hours. So we'll see what he comes up with tonight. Then I'll go shopping.

It's time he realized that I only have so much on disability and he now has to contribute. Tara will have to live on less. And he's got a short paychq, too, from his knee being swollen last week and yesterday he fell off a ladder into a pile of mud, so was sent home to rest and make sure nothing was broken. He just said he hurt his shoulder but after sleeping 3 hours in the afternoon, he felt a bit better and went to work today.

It's been 4 mo and he's not even tried to get a settlement together. He needs to get his finances organized. I can't pay his gas anymore when he gets close to being paid, but at least we both get paid on the 15th this month, so that will help.

Not sure about the other shop. I haven't been for ages as I get bugs online now and I dont need anything for, Shiro yet. I may go next week for some honey worms. I give her three at a time around once a week. She LOVES them of course

Now she is with me in my work room. She was sat on one of my camera bags and then i heard a thump and she somehow got onto the paper stand and watching me :lol: their "wasn't me" face is hilarious

Poor Eric and you! What a nightmare. I can understand he hasn't done finances etc as its such a final thing. But yes of course he needs to! arggggggggggggg so messy!!!!!

Hope you get to work and at least you know whats what now with the cyst!

Time to wash the shedding dragon, she will hate it! OH its crazy, I have a kitten that loves water and a dragon that hates it!!

Eric and Tara have decided not to do a set child support agreement yet because Eric is always out of money. He was off last week 2 days because of swelling in his right knee, again, and also fell yesterday and lost 1/2 day recovering at home. He's such a mess and he's losing weight again, his pants are falling off him. So Tara realizes that he can't give her what she expects because he's got his own debts, never mind gas, parking, and food for him. Food for the kids on weekends. I'm going to have to get a loan and pay it back on the 15th of December. Wish me luck, I have a friend I"m going to ask, I don't want to bug my mom.
