this isnt an urgent or help post...
i was just wondering if there are any ways *besides bathing* to aid lilly in shedding...she is only on her second shed and she seemed to do pretty well with the first one
any suggestions?
My dragon is currently in shed as well. I took him outside and he took a liking to a somewhat rough rock so I stuck it in his cage and he rubs all over it. Id try finding one of those and seeing if that helps. Ive also read on here of someone using egg crates for the same reason as the rock. Pretty much anything hard that has a rough surface (but not too rough of course) seems to help.
You can also use a soft bristled toothbrush to "brush" your dragon. My boyfriend's done this before with his 10 m/o, and he tolerates it everywhere except his face.

This is an excellent "shedding aid". My hubby just helped our 10 mo. old shed his entire back the other day with one while he was in his bath. And Nero actually looked like he was grateful
I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
