Ok... I have never seen this hence the semi worried part..., I am assuming he is just puffing his beard out to strecth it as he is in the middle of a shed... can someone just look at the photo and reassure me that is all that is up? Seems a bit more normal as
I type... but never actually caught them doing this yet. Thanks :)

My Puff does the same thing. He's done it several times in the 3 weeks I've had him. I think its due to him shedding. He's not aggressive just maybe cranky. He did it to my boy friend haha and since my boyfriend adores him, he was kind of upset about it haha :p its cute though.

Totally normal. They can do this to stretch or if something upsets them. My older dragons do this most mornings as a wake-up stretch, the baby does it when she's scared.

I think u only need to worry about it if he also has his mouth open and his beard turns black.
Thanks Puff... it helps ease my mind when I know what to look for when he's doing something I'm not used to that his harmful so I can help him... As much as I feel like I'm calming down on my "worry" with them... something new pops up to remind me, that I still worry .. :) crazy beardie mommy here

The first time I saw Yoshi do that, it had me a little worried as well, but then I noticed that he just seems to stretch sometimes, so yea it's normal. By the way, your beardie is really pretty :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
