Scratching?

So my 2 oldest beardies Cliare:2 years old and Rockie:1 year are always scratching their tanks on the side is it because they want to explore my room? i let them out daily for about 2 hours and let them walk around is that enough?

Thats usually what it means. 2 hours is a good time. I can only let mine out for about half an hour as its so cold here and even the fire wont warm the place up enough

yeah its preety cold here too and thanks i was wondering because they have plenty of space in their tanks so i was like what the heck? haha
