Sand substrate

Is it true that sand can dull bearded dragon colors? i purshased an orange girl that was bright when i first got her about a month ago and now she is really dull and you can barely see the orange.

sounds like a shed i also have herd about sand getting wet and the dying the dragons skin i think that is with that colored sand though idk as i use tiles better safe than sorry with sand

maybe a shed? dont use sand it can cause impaction leading to death, buy repticarpet or slatetile, better safe than sorry rigth

I put my vote in for tiles, great to clean and nice and safe! Ide like to see a beardie swallow a tile.. well no I wouldn't really but you get the idea.
