Roach chow

Do you have a lot of dubia? Just a few adults and nymphs obviously won't eat much. But if it's ground up and if they can all reach it, just keep it in along with some water crystals, and supplement some fresh veggies/fruits now and then, and they shouldn't starve. They're not particularly picky about what they eat I've noticed.

It will never look like they are eating it. Leave it for a week or two and I am sure you will notice some is gone at least.

My roach chow consists of ground up dog food and ground up cherrios lol.

I've been using Flukers Cricket food for about a year. About $15/gallon and seems to last forever! Plus, it's finely ground so the nymphs like it too.

I put down slice of white bread down and then I place oatmeal on top of that then cricket grain like food, and finally bearded dragon multi colored dry food. I would say I have about 200 in total and they eat that up in about a day. Before I can get all the food down they are all over it!!!!! I also place 2 large oranges in there for there water and that takes about a week to be eaten.

heres a list of what the feeders get. the roaches and crickets love it.

2 tblsp bee pollen
2-3 sheets of green or brown algae
2 tblsp pumpkin seeds
2 tblsp seaseme seeds
1 cut up mango
1 cut up apple
1 cup flax seed
1/2 the bushel cut up mustard greens
1/2 the bushel cut up green leaf lettuce
2 tblsp peprika
3 cups oatmeal
handful dandelion greens/flowers
handful mulberry leaves

i add about 4 cups of water to the blender and these ingredients. blend it freeze it in ice cube trays. once frozen i remove from the trays and place the cubes in gallon ziploc baggies. usually makes about 30-45 days worth of feeding.

:notworthy: I bow down to your cooking skills for the feeders! Mine get crunched dog or cat treats, dry cat food, fish flakes, and wheat germ. I don't give oranges because I found they were not being touched and would just mold up. :puke:

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
