Repti-sun hood?

is there a special one i should get? or would a regular hood you'd find at walmart work? i've seen people mention the Flukers but is there a big differance? like from a caddi to a pinto? Thanks! ruby

The ones at walmart are fine just remember to remove any plastic cover over the bulb, it blocks the uvb.

Are you talking about a fish tank hood? I am not sure which one to go with there.

If you buy lighting fixtures (the type that go in a shop or under a cabinet) to put the tube lights in, they come with a plastic cover over the bulb. It is not dangerous to remove it. With it on there, you won't be getting any of your UVB.
