Ignore the estimated time...if I remember Diane's/Josh's boy said 4pm...yet he was there just a few minutes past 10:30.

You're exactly right Barb. Like you had told us, anything live has do be delivered as close to 10:30 am as possible.

Kaleen, Loki LOVES little roaches, of course, there isn't anything that I've found that he doesn't like. All Barb's babies are quite the eaters AND poopers, right Barb?

PeeWee is gonna have an awesome home.

Well, I'm gonna see if I can get a little sleep, didn't get home from work until almost 9:00 so I will ck back in a little later.

Kaleen I'm sure you are just gonna love him. He's the sweetest little thing and just loves to sit with you. He will sit with you for hours without trying to wonder off. He might be small but what a big personality he has. He really reminds me of Gus I imagine that's what he must have been like when he was a baby.

That's good to know thank you. I'm going to be up early tomorrow anyway so hopefully he will come super early! I'm going to try to relax by reading other discussions on the forum now, but I'll be checking this thread on and off as well as the tracking page. Thank you so much for checking and keeping me as calm as possible. I'm starting to get really sore and achy from surgery this morning, so this is helping distract me. I don't want to take any pain medication until I absolutely need it, I hate feeling out of it...

If you're uncomfortable though, would be a good idea to give in & take a pain med. Best not to let it get real bad, you have to listen to your body.

Yea my boyfriend is watching me like a hawk, and has already said after this last icing he's going to have me take some meds so I can relax and rest. He doesn't want the pain to get out of control because to get it back under control he'll have to take me to the hospital and he knows I don't want to go. The doctor did a great job of numbing the entire area, and wrapping me up like I'm wearing a corset so nothing moves around. After about 12 hours I am finally starting to feel everything, so I did pretty great today. My sister, Mom, and boyfriend said the doctor told them that tomorrow is going to be the worst of it, and Wednesday I'll be good to go as far as pain is concerned. I'll be down for about a week while the tissues heal and can resume normal activity after my post op appointment on Monday October 1st.

Aww I just can't wait to meet him and watch his personality as he explores and connects with me and my boyfriend. I really believe he's going to love it here. We spoil all of our babies, it's over the top! My entire day consists of taking care of beardies. Since Frank and Sunny are sleeping the rotation is between Chloe and PeeWee now, so they will get extra play time and longer night time snuggles! With the new outdoor enclosure in the summer time we have more options for playtime now too. PeeWee is going to be pretty busy!

I just got home & noticed he's en-route, so he's left Clovis & hopefully will be in Memphis soon, then on his way to you! I know how hard it is for Barbara to let one of her babies go, she takes such good care of them, as Diane has said. It's exciting to know he'll be at your place tomorrow & really, if your body needs to relax, then take your meds! You need to let your body heal & resting is the only way. I'll be checking in later tonight & again in the am, hope he's at your place b4 I go to work tomorrow. Are you on the same time as California right now? I know Lori told me but I can't remember if you're an hour ahead or not. it's 9:45p here right now.

Arizona is the same time as California in the summer, right now it's 9:56pm.. I can't wait to see PeeWee tomorrow. I want to jump around and do a little dance, but I can't... Oh well I'll make Jeffrey do one for me, after all he's my caretaker right now!

Don't over do it tomorrow with PeeWee. Be sure to take the rest that you're suppose to and stay put. You'll be able to have all of the snuggles and feeding duties after you're feeling better.

Don't worry, Deb. Daylight savings time is a real nuisance! I vote we cancel it all, go back to the normal time, no changing ahead one hour or back one hour. Because I've lived in AZ 99% of my life, that part is what confuses me. It's easier for me to remember that during the summer time we are 3 hours behind the east coast and the same time as the west coast and here in another month it will be back to 2 hours from the east coast and one hour ahead of the California coast.

I can't wait to see Peewee in his forever home. I'm glad you will take good care of Peewee. I can already tell you love him. You loved him before you knew you would get him. I remember clearly those posts on Barbara's thread about them. You were ready to wait in front of the computer for days until she responded that you can have him.

I promise I won't over due it, my boyfriend Jeffrey isn't taking his eyes off me. I am seriously starting to feel the effects of the surgery, so I took my pain meds and am starting to get a bit drowsy. I have my alarms set for early morning, but I have a feeling Jeffrey is going to get up before me and turn off my alarms and wake me when the FedEx truck pulls up, if I sleep that late. Not too worry though, he's probably just as excited as I am for PeeWee's arrival, so he's got all cameras ready and won't allow any of you to miss a moment! I know I'm going to have a difficult time sleeping though, I usually sleep on my right side, and it's my right breast that had surgery so I have to sleep on my back for at least 48hrs. Besides that I have to wait until Monday October 1st for the biopsies to come back and the anxiety is killing me. On top of that PeeWee's safe arrival is a big priority, and until he's safe in my arms I won't sleep soundly.
You know what's exciting too, in November around my birthday is the big reptile expo in the greater Phoenix area. I remember last year they had such awesome accessories for enclosures and wholesale reptisuns and powersuns. We are saving some big bucks and stocking up, and I'm going to redo all 4 beardie cages with cool rock formations and beardie furniture, it's going to be awesome. By then I'll know PeeWees personality and I can pick out things he will really love. Oh that was a big yawn... Chloe is sleeping next to me in the bed. I usually have her on my left and Sunny and Jeffrey on my right. Well since Miss Sunny is sleeping she's in her cave all bundled up, and Chloe has me and Jeffrey all to her self. I think she's loving it! Alright I'll keep checking by until I fall asleep, if I do!

Okay so I just checked and PeeWee as of 11:34pm arrived in Oakland, California. Shouldn't he be on his way to Memphis by now? I'm already panicking.. How's he going to get here in 9 hours if he's still on the west coast, has to go to the east coast, and back to the west coast by 10:30isham?!?!? Oh man I'm freaking out....

Kaleen I was trying to make a post when the site went offline for maintenance.
But anyhow what I was trying to post is that I was starting to think the guy at FedEx is a m0r0n and was messin' with me by saying he would go to Memphis. For his sake, I really hope not because he will be hearing from me if that's the case. But I'm really starting to think that!
Because it just really doesn't make sense that PeeWee would go to TN from CA and then back to AZ. :roll:

I know with UPS the transfer spot is Ontario CA and if sending a package to a bordering state the package would stay in Ontario until about 4am then arrive in the next state transported to hub and out for delivery around 6ish to be delivered by 10am. Which to me makes more sense.
This is way I'm thinking that guy either thought he was funny or was being an ....
Why send a package across the US when where it needs to go is a 45 minute flight at most??? Doesn't make sense!

Anyway I'm gonna try to nap for an hour or so I suggest you try to do the same, but I doubt I'll have any luck...you'll probably see me back here shortly. :wink:
