Rankins x Central???

i know there is a big difference in size between the rankins dragons and the other more typical sized pogonas.
but is it possible to breed the two together :?: :?: :?:

probably yes. if they are both within the same genus (which they are), the possibility that they can interbreed is very high. They would most likely also produce viable offspring also. I wouldn't make the cross, however. It would just create a mess of things genetically.

There are reasons why they don't regularly interbreed in nature though. One reason like you stated may be size, another may be a difference in mating rituals (I don't know about this though). Another may be that their ranges don't overlap naturally (again, I'm not schooled in this area).

If you have a pure blooded rankins, why would you want to outcross it?

i dont actually own a rankins(tho i wouldnt mind getting a pair in the future)
i was just curious as to if it could be done. not that i want to.
