R.I.P. Sorin

Thanks. I'm going to hang it up next to Sarah's halter. She was my mom's horse who was my last connection to my mom that had to be put down five Thanksgivings ago this Thanksgiving.

You got it. You know, as much I like the memorial page idea, there should be a grief page where people can talk about their griefs with others who understand because not everyone understand the loss of a pet and this has really helped me.

I am so sorry that you had to say goodby to Sorin today. It is extremely difficult & rips you apart I know. We are all here for you & you will get through it, though you will never forget him. He was a special little boy & he knew you loved him dearly.

Were you able to sleep? I'm glad you took Sorin's blanket to bed. I'm sure it made him smile and gave you comfort. The bonds of love are not broken just because one goes on before.

I pretty much cried myself to sleep. I had wrapped his hammock around the towel and that's how I slept. I'm probably going to be crying on and off throughout the day, though I'm going to try and keep busy with all the things I feel need to get done as a king of distraction.

You don't have to cry over Sorin. I'm already doing it for you. I'm literally typing this with tears streaming down my face. I can't handle hearing about the death of someone else's beardie. I have no idea how I'll cope if one of mine dies. I'm so sorry for your loss.
