R.I.P. JUDAS :( :( R.I.P MISTY :( :(

This is my new girl, she is one of Barbara's babies from the first clutch and was born on 7/17. Her proud parents are Ms. Tiggs & PVT Blaze. As we know, all Barb's beardies are spoiled.
She had a long trip from CA yesterday, all the way to NY. She arrived 12:30 today. She is gorgeous, has orange colored eyes and is a real sweetie.

I had a problem with Photobucket, promise to put up more pics later. She had a bath, ate a few greens & a little squash as well as 2 crickets. She has been cuddled quite a bit already. And, as Barbara knows, she loves to run up your hand & arm when you try to put her back in.
Her stress marks are gone right now, she laid on my lap and snuggled into my hand. :shock:

Hi Diane,

I just wanted to thank you for telling me about cocoa butter. The lump under Lonzo's bottom lip is starting to shrink. A bunch dropped of (old sheds) when he shed his mouth & chin, and the rest is shrinking every day. It's wonderful stuff, but very hard to find. I have a bag full of chunks, it works so well I've started to put it on my hands!

We had all our beardies up yesterday, it was alot of fun, cuddling them all day after baths & food. I even got to cuddle Didi and Lonzo together. Believe it or not, I had Lonzo sleeping on one shoulder and Didi on the other & I cuddled them for over an hour b4 we put them to bed. I sure enjoyed that!

Gee Katrina, I didn't hear anything about "new arrivals", I will certainly have to check that out tomorrow night.

As far as updates on Misty, nothing really new. She continues to eat all I give her, no signs of brumation yet anyway. In fact, all of them are still awake. Gizmo is the only one that goes to bed a little earlier than usual but he's still eating well.

Deb, I'm glad the cocoa butter helped Lonzo, that's great. You have trouble finding it? The dollar store right up the street actually even carries the cocoa butter stick, that's when I first found it. It really does work well and doesn't build up like the Aloe Vera gel can. Great that it's helping your hands too, it does seem very soothing.
I'm happy to hear that all your babies were up yesterday and you enjoyed their cuddles. Would have loved to see a picture of Lonzo on one shoulder and Didi on the other. :love5: Isn't it amazing how heavy they are when they're sound asleep?

Hi Diane! I can't believe your luck that Misty is still awake :shock: I sure do miss my big girls....I have 2 piglets that I'm bottle feeding and a new little box turtle from last weekends expo, I did post pics on my thread. Glad to hear that your crew is happy and healthy!!!

Well, it was one yr ago today that Misty arrived. That year sure went fast and she settled in very nicely right away thanks to Barbara's TLC. She is doing very well, no signs of brumation yet anyway and is very easily contented. Hopefully I will get some new pics up soon.

I'll have to see when Fiona arrived, I know it's been over a year and by has it flown by!!! I signed up to bd.org in September of last year!!! Which means that we got Fez in early September. I hope that you can get some pics up, I just haven't had the time lately... :?

Yes Barb, she is wide awake, in fact, all of them are for the most part. Gizmo goes to sleep earlier, eats a little some days, other days eats quite a bit, Judas has a quiet day/evening once in a while but most of the time is running around like a crazy beardie, Sabrina is actually improving with her back leg strength with the new regimen she is on and isn't showing any signs of brumating at all. So, so far so good but winter hasn't really hit yet, so not sure what will happen then. :roll:
