questons about building a custom tank

hey guys sence my baby alec has gotten so big i desided to build him a tank. but had a few questons. how close does he have to get to the uvb light? what kind of tile should i use?

Depending on the uvb bulb, the reptisun 10.0 tube is recommended to be 6-8 inches away from the basking spot. If building a tank, it would be easier to just mount the fixture up in the ceiling or high up on the wall, and build/place a basking spot that can allow the dragon to get within this range.

I wouldn't recommend making the tank anymore than 2' tall.
