Squirt is such a handsome and clean fella. Can't even imagine what he looked like before all of the bath scrubbings he got.

Zim makes me wanna cuddle him.

Squirt and I had another endearing after-bath snuggle tonight, but this time it was a real snuggle because I was holding him against my chest. Again, black beard shortly disappeared after I picked him up and out of the sink.

Now, time some super adorableness!

Gianna was pacing like crazy in Digi and MoMo's house, and I guess this was Digi's way of telling her daughter that enough was enough. By the way, Digi was deep inside her cave a mere 15 or so minutes prior to this (I was in the bathroom washing Gianna's stand and this was what I saw when I came back into the living room).

This is exactly why I love my babies!

Awww, snuggles with Squirt, he's getting very comfy in his new home, isn't he. Glad to hear!

And the girls, so cute, so did Digi get off her eventually? She doesn't look that uncomfortable under Mom, though. The pic of the three of them was very cute, Didi and Momo in their hides and Gianna in the middle. It's nice to know that the 3 of them get along so well.

the pic labeled "Gianna sunning at grandparents house" can not possibly be the Gianna we've come to know and love. She's way to big! Did you get another female to pretend that it's Gianna just to fool us? It's not April Fools day yet!

Some time overnight, Gianna had crawled out from under her mama; not sure how, but she did.

Isn't it amazing what closeup shots can do? It can make someone small into someone really big ;)

I'm a baaaaaad foster mom!!!!! :(

Seeing how Squirt was eating so much of his greens, I decided to give him his bigger bowl so I could put more in it. Well, since moving him to his bigger house and giving him the bigger bowl on the same day, I contributed his not wanting to eat to being in a new location (though he wholeheartedly ate the worms), until today. For some bizarre reason, I gave him back his little clay bowl and he immediately ran over to it and began eating.

I'd been starving Squirt due to my stupid negligence of not realizing that he attributed the bigger gray bowl to a water/bath bowl, and not a food bowl. How could I had been so blind?! :banghead:

(time for me to put myself in a corner)

Now be nice to yourself Gina, give yourself a break, how would you know that he'd think it was a strange place for greens? You're not a beardie mind reader (even though it seems that way at times), so no corners for you! And why are you still calling him your foster beardie when you know darned well you won't be able to let him go? You're so funny Gina!

Congratulations on Squirt, Gina!!!
He's very handsome and seems to be full of character and personality. I believe he's right where he belongs, and so lucky to have landed in your lap!!!

But I should've known! He was eating like an absolute champ before moving out to the hallway and even then, he was still active. He never exhibited relocation stress from day 1, so why would he now. I should've known :(
Because I haven't convinced myself that he's not going anywhere. My heart knows, but my brain's being difficult (as it always is).

Thanks, Kaleen! He sure is full of character and personality.

Oh shoot, I completely forgot to tell you guys of our little living room excursion over the weekend (I think). We sat on the couch for a little bit before he decided to explore. Pookie was fast asleep on top of the couch, and Gianna was in her house. Squirt kept running back and forth from where I sat to the edge of the couch to look at Gianna. Luckily, Gianna didn't react to him and sat very still. After two rounds of back and forth, he started to look on the floor as if he was getting ready to jump, so I picked him up and put him back into his house.

He's feeling much better so wanting to be adventurous. That's all to the good! At least you figured out why he wasn't eating his greens & fixed the situation. I so wish mine would eat greens like he does. They'll only eat by being hand fed and then only a few pieces a day, not a lot for healthy dragons, plus they're all slowing down right now, well except Didi, of course, he's already had a 2 week nap!

Digi hasn't eaten her greens on her own in a couple of years. She, too, has to be hand fed, piece by piece, and only the dark colored ones and not too big in size. Every now and then, her daughter follows suit

Glad I'm not the only one, it's a pain in the neck, much prefer if they'd eat out of a dish. So NEVER give Squirt anything my hand or you'll have another one. What about MoMo and Pookie, do they eat their own, or do you have to feed them, too?

MoMo always eat her greens on her own. Every now and then she'll snatch a few from me when I'm feeding Digi, if she's feeling lazy and don't want to walk across the tank to the bowl. Pookie will eat from a bowl if he's in the mood to eat greens. I don't leave a bowl in there for him, but do offer him some if he's looking.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
