Digi had her 1 month followup visit today. Good news is that there is visible calcification forming around the bone, bad news is that she still has a long way to go and would be wearing the cast for awhile longer. We go back for another look in another month.
I think she really likes the vet because she turned this bright yellow when he brought her back from the x-ray, and kept looking up at him while he was talking. Then, when we were all done and the vet finished writing up the paperwork, she suddenly turned around, walked over to the file, and plopped herself right in the middle of the file. She wouldn't move! Instead, she looked up at the vet and turned an even brighter yellow. It was soooo cute!

Oh, more bad news -- she's got more buns in the oven :roll:

That's great that there is visible calcificatikon. Too bad she has to wear the cast longer though. And, more eggs?! Already? Now that she knows what it's all about, perhaps it will be easier on her.

So cute the way she put on her pretty colors for the vet. Sounds like she feels very comfortable with him and perhaps she is hormonal already and doing a little bit of flurting perhaps? :lol:

Exactly 27 days from the clutch #1 to #2 AND 27 days between #2 & #3!
She popped out an egg on her alligator this morning! Yesterday, all day long, she left little urate presents all over the house, and never sat still for more than 5 minutes. Drove me and Pookie absolutely bonkers!

She had tried to crawl into her cave last night, but the cast prevented her from being able to turn around and she ended up being stuck for awhile (I was unfortunately completely clueless that she was stuck). After a few hours of listening to her scratching, I removed the cave and saw a very upset beardie with a half black beard

Wonder where she'll end up laying her eggs :|

Don't they just get so annoyed when they want to do something & can't. And so persistent. Sweetie's the same way, she's been wanting to go into her hide during the day, so I've blocked it off. She gets very annoyed, stink eye.

She's going to have more eggs, have you counted 27 days from the last clutch? Must be soon if she's leaving presents & then laid an egg on her alligator. Maybe she'll lay them all on her alligator! Too bad she can't get into the sink altogether, but another month & she'll be as good as new!

There's never a dull moment at your house, is there :mrgreen:

How's your beautiful Zim, I can still picture him being chased around the house, too funny!

I thought she might be making more eggs.
It's actually a great thing that she will just drop them where ever and not insist on a dig box.
This makes for less work for that brokey leg. It was wonderful to hear about the calcification taking place.

If she had used a laybox in the past, there's no way she could use one now because I can't give her a bath afterwards.

Oh god, I just thought of something -- what if she had laid the eggs anywhere in her viv and ended up trampling over them? There'd be scrambled eggs everywhere! :shock:

Roux laid her first clutch in her viv and she tried to eat one...she may have actually ate some before we noticed. :dontknow:

Well, other than shredded paper towels, there weren't signs of eggs at all. She didn't even attempt to go back into her cave.

You wait, and then let her shock you with eggs in your bed where she was sleeping before being put back into her bed. Oh, wait, that's what happened to us with Rosie and her eggs 1.5 weeks ago.

Holy Cow can you imagine if pookie had gotten to her and actually fertilized all these eggs....? :shock: That would be a killer amount of pidder patters! My female is looking at Zippy saying hey im ready for you. She laid eggs about a 3 weeks ago? I think and shes already making eyes at him again. Only about 5 of her eggs are viable....I don't know if they are fertile....they haven't caved yet...and they expanded so I dunno! We will see.

So glad her leg is starting to heal. Its prolly going to take longer if she keeps laying all these eggs!

Still no eggs. I had hoped to see at least 2 this morning, but nope. Then I hoped that there'd be a big pile when I got home from work, but still nope.
While I was trying to clean her icky tail a half hour ago, she decided that she wanted to sneak in the sink while the water was running. Lucky for me, I was one step ahead of her (saw the 'look' on her face when she realized the water was on) and turned the faucet off just seconds before she slid in. But that didn't stop her from acting as if there WAS water in the sink (got a video to upload for that). After a half hour of "swimming", she finally gave up.

Right now she's snuggling with MoMo under the laptop.

Digi, what a wonder you are! Keeping your Mommy wondering where the eggs are? Quick thinking but if she wants to swim without water, why not? Sounds like a plan. It's so great that you keep us all updated. Ok Digi, get those eggs out soon!
