Wow Gina, she laid 32 eggs! I think that's the most I've ever heard of in one clutch. :shock: She has to be feeling much better without all that extra weight AND minus the cast. Hopefully she'll start eating better tomorrow, I'm sure she'll be tired the next few days though.

Guess she couldn't stand seeing you cry so she knew she had to act quickly so you'd feel better. Gotta love 'em. You must be sooooooo relieved now.

I am very relieved, but not completely -- not until she's back to her normal eating schedule/amount and gains the weight back. THEN I'll stop worrying.

I'm glad that the cast is gone...I'm sure she will be so much happier not being constricted by that cast.
BTW...keep in mind that vitamin B can cause constipation so make sure to keep her extra hydrated. :wink:

I will be gone for the weekend so I'll have to check back in on her when I get back Sunday night.

Oh! Yep! They definitely understand when we break down like that just ask Zak-n-Wheezie. I freak out so bad and go into a complete balling panic every time they come down with one of those URI's. I often wonder if I love them more or if they love me more. Its odd that such small creature have such a strong love and bond with their owners.

I'm not going to say exactly how much weight she'd lost in the past month (since her last clutch and breaking her femur), but I will say it's ALOT, and the weight dropped very fast.

Don't worry Barb, I plan on allowing her her beloved spa (which, by the way, she was very happy to sit in last night, for an entire hour) every day for an entire week (or whenever I get home from work early enough).
If anything earth shattering happens over the weekend, I'll be sure to txt you about it.

Tiggs on one occasion lost lots of weight after laying several clutches I found that the Reptaid CC worked well for enticing her appetite back an assisting in putting the weight back on. I would just give Tiggs one feeding of it per day in the morning and it really did help when I was so worried about that weight loss.

Christine, I should have a full head of grays but luckily, there's only one (of course it's at the front of my head), so far.

Great news! Digi finally ate ~7 white supers today! For some odd reason, she won't eat any butters or regular supers, even if they were hand fed to her. But hey, at least she's eating!

Gina, MoMo looks really big! You are doing good with her. Bill was sympathizing with Digi when she tried to figure out where the water was. To me, it was like "there is supposed to be water here! Where is it?

Poor Digi in her psuedo bath, is there any way you can cover her bottom half, hold her in your hand, and let her upper half play in the water, of course not too much water watching her head doesn't go under. Almost like hanging her off your hand in a shallow bowl so she thinks she's swimming.

(BTW, I wish I had a nickle for everyone I know that has a scar under their chin, I have the same one too)

Gina, that's great that Digi is eating now. Hopefully she'll gain the wt back soon. MoMo has certainly grown, wow 385 grams. Must be all the group cuddling that has helped too lol.

Poor Digi was so confused about not having any water in the sink, bet she's enjoying her baths now and isn't missing that cast at all. Hopefully she'll hold off on anymore eggs for a while.

MoMo surely loves that puppy, too cute!

I have a scar on my chin too, in about the same spot as Gina's.
