OMG Gina, she is just SO adorable. :love5: We all watching the videos and looked at the pictures, we were oooing and awwwing all over the place. She looks great, Paul says she's gonna be a "pistol", just look at those eyes. Her colors are so awesome already. Great that she is so curious about everything. Sounds like Pookie is keeping a close eye on his little girl.

After everyone had a bath last night, I had the girls in the window seat that's closer to Zoey and Pookie at the far end. Well, when he woke up this morning, he was in such a rush to get to the other side that he kept losing his footing around the panda bear, and ended up black bearding and glaring at me. I picked him up and placed him on the other side and he stayed there literally all day, both watching the outside and his daughter.

Great pics of Zoey, Gina. All the pics of her seeing the camera I noticed her looking at it with either a look of fear like 'what is that thing?!' Or in one pic, she looked at it like, 'if you keep bothering me, I'll bite you'. It made me laugh as it reminded me of Rosie and Goldie and even Redrock who was scared of it at first when we had first got them. She will get used to it, it may take a few months but she'll adjust and then not mind it.

Diane, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would never believe that Digi had no interest in her daughter. I don't know if it's because Zoey's so small and doesn't look like a beardie yet (in Digi's eyes) or Digi's leaving the parenting to Pookie :dontknow:

Lori, you are absolutely right. Zoey is afraid of the silver flashing box and wishes that I'd just go away, but she's fine if I don't use the flash.
I'm sure she'll get used to it in no time, especially since she'll be seeing it on a daily basis :wink:

The cave saga continues!

About 7pm, Digi made her way into the corner cave while MoMo was busy eating dinner. Unfortunately, MoMo caught on to what Digi was doing and abruptly stopped eating and followed her sister's tail (literally). I told MoMo that she can't squeeze herself into the cave with Digi, that both of them don't fit in there anymore, then went to sit back on the couch. Shortly after I heard alot of scratching and was worried that somebody was doing something she shouldn't be, so I got up to investigate. This was what I saw:

Finally, at 10:55pm, this was the scene in the girls' house:

Even though they both started out inside their own caves, once they decided to finally settle in and go to sleep, they both crawled themselves out far enough where they were lying next to each other.

Zoey is a cutie & she likes your voice. She has the most beautiful huge eyes, too, it's as if she was saying "so what else can you do for me in the bath, Grammie?" and the other pics were adorable. She'll get hungry enough to start eating on her own, you know it can take a few days sometimes. Digi & MoMo are so funny with the cave issue, beautiful pics of both of them & isn't Pookie being a good daddy, even if Digi isn't interested!

So cute! You need to get a new hide thats big enough for both girls. Are you handy with pottery clay at all? I was thinking about buying it in bulk and making a couple hides for my babies and thought I'd suggest it to you. I say this because they don't sell hides big enough for lizards and when they do they are outrageously expensive and only found at large reptile expos like NARBC and such. Just thought I'd let you know. Zoey is adorable! I kept one male from my first clutch =D he's a dinomite baby also hypo. Its fun having babies around but I will be glad when I no longer have to deal with crickets bleh. :bleick:

I had never tried pottery, but had seriously considered it since I can't find a hide that's big enough for both girls without spending a fortune.

That would be Pookie. I'm hoping that he would talk to Zoey and convince her to eat something today.

I had placed a wax worm in her food dish and she'd been staring at it from the top of her tree branch for the past 10 minutes. Maybe she'll eventually get tired of staring and try it out?

I hope so. We were given some wax worms years ago and tried them on Redrock. She wouldn't eat them. I've never tried them since. She probably just needs to get used to her new home and all the strange people there.
