I expect healthy babies also. Digi is one of Barbara's babies and we all know you've taken excellent care of both mom and dad since you've gotten them. If I could afford another one I would take one.

Those babies are going to be beautiful! I'm sure they're going to go fast to great homes too! I hope you can get some rest tonight too Gina.

Hey Gina im checking in on Digi hows the poor girl doing? any more eggs?
How are you doing im sure last night was super stressfull

She did finally end up going to sleep at sometime between 2:30 and 3:00am. I, on the other hand, didn't get to sleep until after 3:30am, on the couch, and was woken up at 6:19am to Digi banging her nose against the outside wall of her cave (no idea why she was doing that). I got up, shifted her so she went inside her cave, and went back to the couch where I dozed off for about 45 minutes until Zim came over barking at me. The brat wanted me to get up to let him out. Well, after that, I didn't think it was worth it to go back to sleep, since I still needed to check on Digi and make sure that she didn't lay any more eggs in her sleep (hey, you never know). Unfortunately, I can't see inside by the way she's lounging; maybe she'll move soon.

Shortly before she settled down last night, I found one more egg inside her cave. It was another dud, making that 6 empties.

Heard from Tom. He'll be in Baltimore this weekend for the Repticon show, and won't be back in PA until Sunday night. I hope my setup for the eggs will be ok until then.

i would get a thermometer inside the foam cooler just so you can moniter temps, hopfully it will be fine for a few days.

I took the girls' probe thermometer and placed it inside the cooler. It'd been reading in the low 90s.

Then they'll be fine, I was told that 82-84 was the prime temp for incubation, so they should be fine until they can be put in the incubator, maybe even a bit less. I'm so glad you & Digi are fine, you're going to need a nap today or at least to bed early to make up for being up most of the night. 4 hours isn't enough to feel good. Wow, I'm so astonished that she held onto those eggs until now. Hopefully that will be the end of fertile eggs. How was MoMo during all this, has she wandered over to see how her sister is? I know you're going to make sure Digi gets all her weight back & you'll have to keep us all updated about the little poopers, as Tom calls them!

After waking up both MoMo and Pookie, neither of them had expressed any interest in finding out where Digi is. MoMo hadn't wanted to go back home, yet, and Pookie gray bearded and mini head bobbed me for a little after I told him that he's going to be a daddy, but didn't listen to me when I told him to go see how Digi was doing.

I guess it's better that both of them are leaving her alone. She's still dozing on/off and had hardly moved since 8:30am. I'm going to give her some baby food in a bit; hope she'll want to eat.

She will, Gina, her appetite is going to be huge later in the day, she's just tired from all that labour. I'm glad she has her house to herself, makes it easier to sleep. Let us know how she's doing later today. Glad that ordeal is over, hope that's it for the egg laying for awhile, of course, never would be better. I'm hoping Tom will keep us updated on your babies, they're going to be soooo cute!

Digi ate 4 white supers and about 6 pieces of greens - more than what I expected her to eat.
She's now sitting up, acting much more alert.

Glad to hear it, she'll eat more & don't forget the liquid calcium, she'll need that every day. You might want to look into bee pollen granules, they melt in warm water & you give it with a syringe, seems to be helping Lonzo alot. He's got way more energy since I've been giving it to him. Give it a try, won't hurt, 1/4 bee pollen to 3/4 warm water.

I'd been giving both girls their daily doses of liquid calcium since they woke up in March, with only a few days here and there of forgetting.
She also ate ~1.5 mL of pea baby food and drank ~¾ mL of water this afternoon, and one more super. Unfortunately, she'd taken a fancy to white ones, so I need to force feed a bunch so they'd shed for her tomorrow.

Wow, what a short night for you and Digi. Seems like she ended up sleeping more than you did though. How many good eggs did you end up with, 20? Great that she ate a few supers, some greens and some pea baby food, that must have made you feel better. You'll have her wt back up in no time.

Hope you can both get a good night's sleep tonight. Now, be honest, how many times have you checked on the eggs already? I know I would be checking the temp every few seconds myself.
