Pookie's Minions - Pookie's Gone ☹

Pookie still tries to act all tough and manly, even though he knows that I know that he's a big mush.

I finally plucked him off of his ladder and snuggled with him on my chest for a bit, then placed him next to Digi and covered both of them up. When I peeked in on them this morning, both of them gave me a :shock: look. Pookie looked like he just got caught doing something he shouldn't, and Digi was surprised that Pookie was there.

Pookie totally drove me crazy last night! After coming home from a 'quick' run to PetSmart, I put Pookie back in front of the window and picked up Digi for some snuggles. Of course, he caught sight of her and went koo-koo. Jet black beard from the tip of his chin down to his belly (but yet the rest of his body turned a vibrant yellow), head bobbing like it was going out of style, and pacing back and forth like he had ants in his pants (if he wore pants, of course). Finally, he decided to fly across the couch and pounce on us, scaring me to death. All the while, Digi wasn't the least bit phased because she was shielded by my sleeves. Fearing that he'd try to bite my hand instead, I decided to cover her up with her blankie but kept her head exposed. Well, that started a whole different frenzy with Pookie. He paced back and forth, up and down, and pounced on me and Digi repeatedly. Each time he landed on us, he looked so perplexed that there was a blankie covering her up. But instead of walking away frustrated, he sat there staring at the blankie, up/down & left/right, trying so hard to figure out a way to either remove the blankie or get underneath it. I could've sworn I saw smoke coming out of his ears from all of the thinking he did! It was truly amazing to watch him think and try to work something out.

It's scary how smart he is.

Yeah, he's got it bad this year. Maybe it's because he hardly brumated at all and did nothing but watch the girls all winter :dontknow:
When he was surveying Digi's blankie for a way in (still can't get over the intensity of his thoughts), I kept reminding him that he can't do that to his little sister, that he has to be nice like he'd always been. Whenever I said that, he'd look up at me with this "huh? really?" look, sort of like he was remembering but his raging hormones were taking over his mind. It was a really cute look though.

Wonder how he'll react tonight.

Digi was incredibly strangely half in/half out of her cave when I came home from work today:

But wait, that wasn't the only strange thing awaiting my homecoming. MoMo was no where to be found in their house! I searched behind/under all of the stuffies and inside the other cave -- no MoMo. Now, I know for a fact that there's no way possible that MoMo had escaped to the great outdoors of the living room because she can't climb up that high. Of course, I asked Pookie if he'd seen MoMo--no answer. I asked Digi if she'd seen where MoMo ran off to--no answer. I called her, and called her, and called her--no answer. After a few minutes of pointless searching, I sort of gave up and sat down to watch some TV and play on FB. Then it suddenly hit me. . .What if MoMo was inside Digi's cave? That would explain Digi's strange placement.

Well, low and behold, after pulling Digi out, the mystery was finally solved: There was a MoMo inside!

I am totally confused as to how the girls managed to squeeze into one cave. Was MoMo already in there and Digi backed herself in there? Or Was Digi already in there and MoMo pushed her out?
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY UP TO TODAY!!!!!
