Gina, you know better than to bug Pookie about that sort of thing

Merry Christmas everyone, I'm pointlessly making cinnamon buns for my sibs & son, haven't baked in awhile, so the first batch wasn't perfect, but my son doesn't care :D

Hope everyone has a safe & happy holiday!

Poinlessly, Sweetie laid another clutch of infertile eggs, her 8ith clutch of 2010, hopefully she'll decide to retire soon, she'll be 5 yrs old next April. I think 3 years of laying eggs is enough, especially since she'll never be bred...so enough already, Sweetie, NO MORE EGGS!!!

I think Sweetie may have gotten the holiday's mixed up, she's trying to be the easter bunny ;)
Happy holidays to all, and safe travels!

Sadly, my FIAT decided now is the best time to drop an "upper reaction strut" off the axle, making for a very, very wriggly ride. It's going to cost alot of money to fix, and we now have to commute to work, whether or not (not!) our hours are the same. Fix It Again, Tony!

Not sad or pointless, though: My sister gave us each two gift cards for nice restaurants, and a $50 Visa card to split, AND God-momma gave us $200  for whatever (FIAT), and gave me a $100 book store card AND a $125 fancy yarn store card. Super-WOOT! :blob8: :blob5: :blob8: :blob5: :blob8:  Let's go knit!!

And.... One of my hermit crabs has been under the sand to molt for over three months. I gave it up for dead last month, and was about to go digging for a smelly carcass when I spotted the big guy at the chow bowl Yay! Houdini is back! Whether that's a good thing is yet to be decided. Little big guy really earns his name.

Awww, thanks! I can't take the credit, though-- I bought him (?? All hermit crabs are male until proven otherwise) about five months ago. Found him & Morkeleb (his white-shelled black accomplice) at PetCo, of all places. Little Houdini's Accomplice makes a trio. I should get more, some day.

BTW: congrats on your two new eggs. I had a very difficult time getting mine. (Strictly impossible on my "smartphone")

Oof, yeah, I have a hard enough time grabbing them off of my computer, and I'm on a pretty fast machine (yay for being a total geek and needing fast computer for web/graphic design and still occasionally crashing the thing by running too many programs XD )
Oh, and congrats on the fancy yarn store card. Noro yarns are fantastic, I'm making couple of epic scarves with it right now.

pointlessly debating working on book or going to bed.

In the past 6 months, I had sadly managed to acquire 2 beardies (1 permanent and 1 foster), all the while I pointlessly swore that I'd only have Pookie.

Yeah, I had a habit of running to much at once when I got my new computer. I forget WHAT it is, or what's in it, but I asked for something fast, and that's what they got me. It's made for gaming, with a pretty good video card, so I can run iTunes (or a DVD), Google Earth, FireFox (no hog there), and multiple scans at once. Now I've changed around a bit in what's running, but it still keeps my computer on it's "toes." 8)

Hiya Goonie! I also vowed to have only Teddy. Sadly, I truly do have room for just one. Soo sad, 'cause I spotted one poor, dejected baby beardie at the store today.

At this rate, it will only be 4.5 more years before you have a dozen beardies plus a crazy dog and a couch-dwelling turtle.

being new here, I have learned so much about beardies, love the stories and pictures of everyones babies. I am still waiting on mine, but have had over a month to read up on everything about them. I really want to take care of my baby the best I can. Thanks to this board, I have very little worries now, Becky

Whoops, my math was off. Only 2.25 years.
 Seriously?! Are you pointlessly insinuating that I'll sadly continue my acquisition of 2 beardies every 6 months???? EGOD!
By the way, that's "an identity-challenged dog and a couch-dwelling-identity-challenged turtle" to you. :laughhard:

Gina, that is so funny, trying to visaualize your place with 12 tanks and beardies running amok  Zim would stay on the deck and Buddy would stay in the couch. My stomach is aching from laughing  I think 3 now is enough!!! We've maxed at 5 and that is sometimes alot of work!

Poinlessly Sweetie is watching the cartoon "WORD WORLD", so I sadly watch it with her. Our beardies are pointlessly allowed to watch cartoons, so I sadly watch with them when I'm not diong something else. It's fun and they all have their favourite cartoon shows, too. No theyr'e not spoiled, we treat them well, we're good beardie slaves

Police lizard!
The neighborhood had it's anual block pary and I brought Pippin. One of the police officers asked if he could hold her.

Pippin and I reside in Texas. Fits in with the theme of beardies wearing hats.

She even found something underneath it just for her.

She used to fall alseep like this every night. I would move her and lay her down in a way I thought she would be more comfortable, but she would fall alseep this way the next night.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
