Pointless and sad posts

Not sadly and not pointlessly just found out today that my paper got accepted to a convention, so I get to go!!!

Pointlessly yesterday I went into a major cleaning/purging mode. Sadly, i did not get done before the ice storm hit. So know I have several unsightly trash bags full of stuff that needs to go, and a few inches of pure ice blocking me. I have such lousy timing. The bags are bugging me bad, but so not enough to risk breaking a bone over. And yuck, I hear more freezing rain hitting the window.

And sadly my scatterbrainedness seems to be growing. In the last week, I have pointlessly lost 2 pieces of my drawing equipment. I normally take great care of my supplies and make sure they get put away immediately. Over the weekend I lost my 2b pencil, and 2 nights ago I lost my eraser shield I've had for nearly 15 years. they're not that expensive to replace, but sadly the nearest art store is 40 miles away.

You're welcome! My husband is an artist but hasn't been able to draw much lately, too much to do in his retirement. We used to have a catalog from them and I remember a lot of neat stuff they carry.
