No this is not true...

The only danger that I've every heard of is the chance of salmonella (though I've personally never even heard of this happening) and you'd have to literally have contact mouth to poop for this to happen. :puke:

People freak out about salmonella, but as mentioned above, it's nearly impossible to get from a desert lizard. You are much more likely to get it from food. I wash or sanitize after each handling though, just to be on the safe side.

I got the talk about salmonella when I first got my boy... But really the poop is where any of the germs would be
like everyone said. (If those germs were in the dragon.)

Personally I believe 99% of the warnings out there are crap. If we believed every warning about what is and isn't good for us we'd all live in seperate bubbles, never see or touch anything else and not breath
I watch a show called "I didn't know I was pregnant" and honestly i'm beginning to believe that babies must be alot tougher then doctors like us to believe. Plus think of it this way, humans have to be tough, we've been surviving life for a very long time before the doctors decided they need all our money and warning us about everything that's supposedly bad for us.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
