My bearded dragon has gone off his food for about a week only eating the odd thing. He doesn't choose to move much and seems sleepy. He is still pooing.
Temperature in the basking spot is 102 he is in a 4ft tank.
Can anyone offer any advice?

He didn't eat anything since Friday then yesterday he ate 3wax worms and then today he won't eat anything again. He just seems to want to sleep. He does stay nearer then basking area. He is about 9 months old and I wasn't sure if they went in to brumation this early. He had a 70w bulb in but I changed this on Tuesday to a 100w bulb.
Thank you for replying

His bowl movements have been looking normal until today where it was just the white part a bit gooey. I'm worried about him not eating. The temp is 105.

My dragon just went through something similar. Seemed to be in good health, would eat occasionally but mostly just slept in his hide. Around this time of year it is not uncommon for brumation to take place. Since his stool looks normal, and hopefully also smells normal, and your temperatures are correct I would point towards brumation.

How old is your UVB bulb, and how often do you dust his diet with calcium?

The uvb bulb was replaced in October. His crickets are dusted with calcium powder at least twice a week and usually enjoys his greens.
Is there anything you recommend we do whilst he is like this?
Thank you for help

Waxworms are not a good staple insect. They should only be fed as treat. What type and brand of UV bulb do you have? And how old is your beardie? If he is under 1year, he shouldn't be brumating.

They are not used as a staple insect he normally has crickets but because he hasn't eaten anything I tried them to get him to eat. I have thrown the packaging away but it was recommended but the specialist reptile shop after checking I'm sure it was eco terra repti glo. He is around 9 months.

I cannot think of any reason as to why he may be acting this way. Is his vivarium sanitary? How cool is the cooler end of the tank? Has he been hiding in his hide? And if so you could consider removing the hide during the day and replacing it at night.

Keep us updated on his diet, stool movements, and activity levels.

I can't either. Yeah I remove bowel movements when they have been done. At the moment he is choosing to stay in the warm I will check when I get back from work. I will do.
I am ringing the vet today so hopefully they will be able to help too.
Thank you

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
