Please answer... Turning black

WAT DOES IT MEAN if their beard turns black??? Also is it notmal for their sides to turn black as well?

Black bearding which can extend all along the bottom and the sides of their body is generally a sign of being upset,feeling ill or in males they do this when they catch a glimpse of a female.It can also happen when two males see eachother.Juvenile males tend to black beard the most in my experience.If the black is constant then something is wrong either in the husbandry or with his health.

ok so what do you suggest??? He is losing some of the blackness so what does that mean?

They can blackbeard if they're stressed out by something, if you've only had him a short time he may be getting used to you and his surroundings. Also they can appear darker if they are cold, spyro is usually quite dark in the mornings when her light first comes on. You can tell a lot by their appearance especially if they beard, but it is normal behaviour to let you know somethings bugging them.

Can you post some pictures of him and maybe also one of his tank?It would help me figure out if he is just being a beardie or if there may be something going on?
