Phoenix Worms

well Norbert hasn't eaten any worms today but he did eat 12 crickets. I'm wondering if he's getting ready to go through a shed. I'm hoping that's what it is and I haven't wasted 33.00 on worms that he's not going to eat

Librarylady,
You don't need to put in any of the media that they come packed in. If you ordered from phoenixworms.com, they have a Q&A section that gives a few ways of getting the material off the worms but if the beardie ingests some particles, it won't hurt him. I've left them in the food dish for hours and they do okay, just put the dish on the cooler side of the tank, not in the hottest area.

After my last shipment of crickets(1/2" 5k) and having roughly 2.5-3k die within the first few days I decided to try Phoenix Worms. Being that I have 2 growing boys, I decided to go with 1000 large as my initial order. My boys love these guys and have been gobbling them up. The shipping really isn't bad either I got my order quick and unlike the crickets, shipping didn't cost more than the feeders!

Well, I got one of the feeders that was supposed to keep the worms from crawling out... that was a waste. The medium ones just crawl through the crack. I left him some this weekend to see if he would eat them. I'll find out tomorrow.
