Phoenix worms should be a semi-staple because they are very high in calcium and can (although I've never had this happen) cause dehydration. You don't need to dust them with anything. I get pw's for bruno and feed him until I'm out and then not feed them for awhile. I usually get one order of 100 large, once every two months.

Yes they can be used as a staple, but you always want to offer a variety. They don't need to be dusted with calcium, but you still want to dust them with a multivitamin 1-2x weekly, if that is all you are feeding. I feed the phoenix worms or butter worms at lunch and crickets for dinner (I find it easier to dust the crix anyways..).
