Hello,

Im currently using the typical carpet-like substrate you see everywhere. But I was wondering about newspaper or papertowel substrate which I heard its not bad? It would be a lot easier to clean/replace

Either is fine, but usually newspaper isn't expensive really, but it's not that lovely to look at, unless you don't care what it looks like lol. Paper towel is good too, but because you have to replace it often when your beardie goes to bathroom and whatnot, it can become expensive over time.

Newspaper or butcher paper work well. Paper towels tend to get shredded easily and can be eaten once shredded so they're OK in a pinch but not ideal. Non adhesive shelf liner is a cheap and easy to clean or replace option as well.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
